If he comes back he is an unknown as a recruiter. Will Chucky do well in a recruits living room? He is used to have unlimited time with the pro players, in the NCAA practice and meeting time is limited.

Gruden should go to Cleveland or some other NFL team. He will thrive or wither in the pros. He is not suited to the collegiate ranks. I truly hope that UTK does not hire him.

Personally, I lean more towards Tinnie's position. The guy had some pro success, sure, but he has zero college experience. Does the name Charlie Weis ring any bells?

This is VERY true...Unfortunately for Gruden, he's not a very good NFL coach either.
