Cp/Att Pct. Yds. Td. Int.
Romo = 37/62 59% 441 3 2
Griffin = 20/28 71% 311 4 1

These are the stats for the traditional Thanksgiving Game, but these don't tell the story. RG III outplayed Romo and Weeden did the same for 3 plus quarters. Tannenhill and Luck are not doing to bad especially Luck. Needless to say we need a rookie Qb!

I know, I know we don't have a running game, but its always some excuse or another. In addition, 3 false starts in your home stadium and its always been a problem since Romo became quarterback. It's time to give go with someone else! There is still 1 year left in his contract, so lets see what the we can get for him for this upcoming year's draft.

Jason Carrot needs to go....and we all know Jerry "Weak Noodle" Jones should relinquish his GM duties. The O line throws buckets of water at the oncoming defense, and believe it or not, a running game DOES matter. Call it an excuse if you want, but a balanced attack keeps the opposition guessing., and if your offense is anywhere near decent, they can move the ball, but when you're one sided like the Cowboys have been, the defense can pin their ears back and let it rip.
Carrot has determined that Romo can win the game all by himself, and he almost did, and it wasn't from lack of trying, but this is and always will be, a team sport. The man needs help.

62 attempts is a lot of throwing. Too much.

It was a pleasure to watch a team that knows what they are doing in the late game. GO PATS!!!!!!

If the Cowboys would, or could, play like they did in the 2nd half of the past 2 games, they wouldn't be in the situation they're in now.

But, you have to give the Redskins credit for playing like they did. Intense rivalry, and they have a really good rookie QB who looks like a veteran. His play in turn elevates the others' play.

We all know teams have injuries, but have you noticed how big a difference there is on the Cowboys when a starter goes down and the next guy needs to play? I look at the Pats and when that happens the next guy is ready to go and perform well. When this happens to the Cowboys the difference is as wide as the grand canyon. That comes down to coaching. The Cowboys have not had a coach since Jimmy who could coach up players.

That has a lot to do with Jerry "Weak Noodle" Jones, and his value of the word "value" and how he applies it to the players. The injuries have indeed taken a toll, yes, but it's not like the Cowboys are the only team to have them. The Steelers are banged up as much, if not more, as are a lot of teams. "Weak Noodle" seems to think the O line is of no consequence, or otherwise, he'd have found someone that can play those positions instead of ......."value" (again that word).

I'd be willing to bet "Weak Noodle" will say he was "impressed and encouraged" (or words to that effect) about the 2nd half. Well, they're a day late and a dollar short, and the play offs are but a dream.

Time is running out, "Weak Noodle"! Your own words.

They are just a bad football team.

Period.

There is no defending Romo! Its partially his fault that the Cowboys don't much of a running game because he doesn't help is o-line. False start penalties have become the norm in Dallas since he has been quarterback. False starts at home? We need one of those rookie quarterbacks! Romo has always been a backup quarterback with great talent around him.

Chew on this...

In 5 home games, the Cowboys have held the lead for a TOTAL of 23 minutes... 18 of those were against the Bucs!

Blame Romo If you wish - but he is not the biggest problem on this team.

I agree with you, Otis. Romo is not the main problem.

All of these 1st round QB's being picked.....Luck, RG3, and what have you, are being groomed to play in the NFL, because they went to "big schools". Romo went to Eastern Illinois, and was UNdrafted. I think he's done a remarkable job considering.

What about Philip Rivers? A 1st round pick, who had, and is, having career days in INT's, but yet no one rags on him like they do Romo. I wonder why that is?

Cowboys fans are more critical of their team than Chargers fans.

You seem to dwell on the negative. The fact is this Cowboys team is lacking in many areas and is playing up to their capability.

I dwell on realism. Show me something positive about this team.

It's not just Cowboys fans....I see criticism of Romo from other fans as well, on talk (football) shows, articles, what have you.

But, people will be critical of the Cowboys regardless. I know I can be. I was even accused of being a "fair weather fan" in here not long ago, because I didn't see much positive about them........Well, I'd rather be a normal fan than one who looks through rose colored glasses.
