Peter King placed the Patriots at #1 and the Texans #2 in his "Fine Fifteen". The Texans are 9-1 and the Pats are 7-3. Clearly 2 games behind, but he put them up there because the Texans were playing in Thanskgiving against the Lions and took overtime for the Texans to beat the Jags. Well, it also took the Texans overtime to beat the Lions, but the Texans beat both of these teams within 5 days. Now that is TRUE GRIT or MENTAL TOUGHNESS!!! Not saying that the Pats don't have it, but the Texans have shown their toughness since last year and they deserve some respect. No doubt that the King should put them back to #1 where Don Banks has them in his power rankings. Most importantly this short stretch of tough football usually propels a team to a very special season, especially since the Texans next game is 13 days from today.

In the last 2 weeks the Texans have struggled against Jax and Detroit. I think we know who the better team is and will be shown in that game. GO PATS!!!!

The Texans at number 1?
It's Thanksgiving...not April Fool's Day.

Nice how you conveniently ignore the fact that the Patriots also won two games in those same five days by a combined score of 108-43. But I guess it's only TRUE GRIT or MENTAL TOUGHNESS when your team does it?

Don't forget that this is the same team that beat the Bears at their game in their stadium and knocked out Jay Cutler.

Guess Peter King was right after all.
The Texans just aren't the dominant team you think they are.

i hope the texans were ~snug~ and warm in their ''special-jackets'' [on the plane ride home].....?

Just like Atlanta. A lot of people were picking that for a Super Bowl. I don't see it!!!

Look at Atlanta's schedule, they played the AFC west and got lucky in getting Manning in week 3. They have wins against Tampa Bay, Arizona, Washington in week 4, Dallas & split their games against the Panthers & Saints.

Could end up being the least feared no. 1 seed of all time.
