You know. You bring up an interesting question. I can't believe nobody has asked that question yet.

Jerry needs to allow someone else to control the personnel decisions

Jerry "Weak Noodle" Jones needs to do a lot of things and resigning as GM is one he should have done 17 years ago. This is NOT new news.

Speaking to the Dallas Morning News, JJ says "We didn't structure it that way with my ownership. There's no way that I would be involved here and not be the final decision-maker on something as important as players, and that is a key area. That's never been anybody's misunderstanding. It's been a debated thing, but it's just not going to happen."

That's why he hasn't sniffed a SB those 17 years. His best quote of the ages is this gem:

"I've been here 23 years. I've been here when it was glory hole days and when it wasn't. I want me some glory hole!"

If Jerry Jones wasn't so dead serious, he'd be comical. Well, he's comical, but in an idiotic way.

Owners,

Usualy are terrible GMs,Obviously Jerry is,and needs too back off and get someone that can understand talent as his vocation. Mike brown is another variation of the same.

But Drafting another QB,seems like the best thing too do and a FB-RB as well. Then the offensive line.[thru the draft or FA.]

I watched that game and when the Cowboys were down 28-3? that took the wind out of the sails, And making a late 'comeback',and 'barely losing',is still losing.'barely.'

And there's no other way around it,than getting rid of some high priced peeps on that team, and get what ya can for them.[draft picks or less costly FAs.]

i hear the eagles, giants, and redskins think that jerry's just doing a ~fabulous~ job !,....and they even want him to take-over the head-coaching duties as well !

Mother.

I hope Jerry reads these threads,as he can get some idea, how unhappy most Cowboy fans are with his idiotic BS.

Head coaches make terrible GMs! So what gives JJ the idea that an owner can be a good GM?

[re: what gives ?]..........hiz ((BIG)) ego !

ya think maybe he should step aside??? wow! won't ever happen though. if JJ wants some glory hole.... well he won't find this at valley ranch or on his team.

these guys are the "almost" comeback queens! they've had enough practice trying to make a game of it after falling behind 3 TDs. maybe santa will bring a new HC that will be allowed to rebuild this obsolete group.

Maybe because he owns the team.

it has been so long ago that dallas was a great team.... JJ forgets he had absolutely nothing to do with assembling the players that won those 3 SBs. he has convinced himself he was a key part of the success back then.

it's sad what this team has become..... hard to watch as the owner/gm of this team literally destroys the legacy of this franchise.

It is only sad to Cowboy's fans. The rest of the league is enjoying this.

Maybe so, but they were 8-8 last year, right?...........count how many prime time slots they got this year...why is that?
