NFL  > Chicago Bears  > Week 13 Seattle SeaHawks 6-5 at Chicago Bears 8-3.
November 28, 2012, 01:47 PM
Well this is more important of an game than many might think. Losing this one would really hurt. While winning is expected especially with the SeaHawks 1-5 road record and the Bears 5-1 home record NOTHING is impossible in the NFL.

Many of the Bears coaches have traveled through Seattle. So expect them to want a little revenge.

Jay Cutler has proven his worth AGAIN to the fans and reporters. So he should have a good game. I expect it to be close in most of the game, but still I expect the Bears to break it open in the 4th quarter and win by 10. We are facing a rookie QB who the defense could feast on and break this game wide open much earlier though. And I suppose a blow out is possible. But underestimating this team is a big mistake!

Seattle is a dangerous team, that can,and might give you some grief,So,yer right about not taking them lightly.

As they just got burned by Miami, and probably want too regroup this week.

Sherman and Browner being suspended could end Seattles chances of making the playoffs. Not sure of how many Chicago players will be sidelined due to injury, they had quite a few dinged up against Minnesota. Louis is out, Carmini is back in the action after being benched after the 49er game. If there is one weakness for Chicago in this game it is their offensive line.

As a 49er fan this is a win/win situation for the 49ers if they happen to beat St. Louis. A loss by Chicago and they increase their lead for the #2 seed in the NFC, a loss by Seattle and they gain on their lead over Seattle and pretty much clinch the NFC West. Seattle is the more desperate of the 2 teams and expect them to play that way, Chicago is a shoe-in for the playoffs so they may be more inclined to play it safe and not risk any injuries.

I just think that Chicago will win for the reasons stated before, Seattle is a lousy road team. If this game were being played in Seattle it might be a different story.

This is the way it's been all season. Only Jay seems to be able to keep himself and the Bears alive long enough to win games. The O-line is so bad that even Matt Forte isn't himself.

Oh how I can't wait until we can get some new linemen in here and Carimi can get an offseason under his belt to make a RESPECTABLE O-line that Jay and Matt deserve.

Where'd you go GSH1????GO BEARS!!!

The Bears need to pound the ball...

My personal opinion on the run game is they did away with Clutts a true FB and are using TE's as a FB, Tice must have picked that up from Martz. Clutts was able to get to the second level and block those LB's and able to seal the edges. So far the T.E's have been getting blown up and missing those edge blocks.

I also think they should pound Bush early then bring in Forte once Bush has the defense wore down, I know Forte is the starter but just my opinion. I would also like to see some old school two back sets, it would some defenses off guard and they wouldn't be able to key on one back and Forte is a threat out of the backfield as a receiver. I think it may possibly take some pressure off the O-Line in downs that they could either run or pass from and make them a little less predictable. They could also do a few more screens, Forte had some decent gainers last year from screens and not so much this year.

Most teams throw more than they run the ball.

Go Bears! A win for the Niners and a loss by the sea chickens puts the magic number at 1 win. Though I'm not super worried about Seattle. I just want the Niners to win out and have Atlanta lose 2.

I totally agree. I wonder what our record would be if we had Clutts on the team? Would Jay even have gotten hurt? I looked at Clutts as the second line of blocking in the passing game with out him now it's an easy sprint to Jay after they get past the O-Line.

Why do coaches love to be modern so much and do away with the fullback? Matt Forte's game is also suffering because of Clutts leaving. Such mistakes should not be tolerated and should be fixed this off season. GO BEARS!!!
