NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > It's too Late!!!
November 30, 2012, 10:44 AM
The Dallas Cowboys got some encouraging news this week as running back DeMarco Murray began to practice again.

Murray sprained his left foot in Baltimore on October 14 and hasn't been on the field since.

'DeMarco just hasn't practiced very much football,' said Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett Thursday. 'Yesterday was the first day that he was out. He ran some football plays. He was limited throughout practice. We want to see how he reacts to that and see how he feels today coming off that work. We'll evaluate him day by day and see what his availability will be going forward.'

After practice on Wednesday, Murray said, 'It's a step forward. It's the most I've done and the best I've felt in a long time.'

Garrett said it was a light start.

Whatever, he's a nice guy and productive when on the field but he can't stay on the field. His presence the rest of the way won't make a difference. The Cowboys have been terrible in December since Jimmy left town.

they've had one or two winning december records the last decade..... they are terrible in december! murray is productive, but like you said he can't last a full season so he's a waste as their starting RB. he has a long history of injuries, that's why he was available for dallas to take. most GM's knew this and passed on him. another great selection by JJ.

wouldn't be totally surprised to see dallas lose sunday. this team is a mess!

Can someone explain how this game did not get flexed-out of Sunday night? I thought the purpose of the 'flex' schedule was to put on meaningful games in prime time. This is not a meaningful game as neither team will be sniffing the playoffs.

Nah, they will pull off that win and believe it or not, they will win again on the road at Cincy but then come home and lose to the Steelers.

Dallas is destined for 8-8 this season and sadly that will save Garrett's job.

I think with a better HC, this team would win 10 games as built and they could keep that up with a better HC to get more youth and a better o-line.

It is Dallas and Dallas is a good draw on TV...

It will not be a ratings boom but surprisingly, there will be a lot of viewers.

well, yeah, because everyone loves a train wreck and that's all we've seen in Dallas for many years now!

no hate for murray just think he's not going to play enough to help. his past suggests this too. he's a good back.... maybe he makes a good backup, but he's yet to make a full season in his short career. and out 6-7 wks for an ankle sprain???? that leaves romo throwing 50 times/game and that is not working.

boom or bu$t..?,.....both teams are in ~turmoil~ [philly more than dall.],.....i still can't believe philly is on ''primetime'' either !......tampa @ denver, seattle @ chicago = could've been given the ~flex~..!

Tampa/Denver would have been more interesting. Not the sh&t Dallas/Philly game.

Dallas/Philly will bring in better ratings than Tampa/Denver.

pitt @ balt....?,........maybe there's been to much [balt. and bears] on primetime ?

Pitt/Balt will most likely be a boring, low scoring game.
