i've seen romo on postgame interviews say stuff like, "if losing a game is the worst thing that happens to me, i'll be alright." romo doesn't always say the right things. even is he really feels this way, fans don't want him to say or react like he does. you make $15 million/yr you think maybe you hire some PR folks to help you with your remarks.
these guys aren't coached well on many levels. all the celebrating when a play is made... i realize this game is played on emotions, but when they've had the season(s) they've had, it gets old watching them act as though they really accomplished something when all they did was beat a poor team with a rookie QB and many injuried players. think our D allowed 436 yrds of offense.... wow, let's all celebrate.
if we don't get a new coach for next season JJ deserves to lose some serious fans. it's gotten to the point where we are so bad that it's cause for celebration when we win regardless of who we are playing.

I didn't like Romo's post-game interview. He did recognize and praised his teammates, but he was smiling. Romo needed to have a more serious demeanor and say something to put the game behind and get the team focused on next week's game. This is why we are so inconsistent!
I don't blame Romo for smiling as he had a terrific game and guided his team to a must win over the Eagles. Romo is not the problem with this team.

A win is a win and we are still in playoff contention. Instead of constantly complaining try supporting the team.

you don't like what i say.... that's your problem. yes, a win is a win and we still have a very remote playoff chance. but maybe you should be realistic. we will be lucky to split the remaining games on our schedule, but it's more likely will win the bengals game and that's all.
praise this team all you want and your boy romo.... the whole group is about as average as they come. that's why we are stuck in .500 ball (or worse this year) the last decade and we've had one playoff win the last 15. yes, romo has a lot to smile about LMAO!

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Me too!
I see this weekend game as 'any body's game'.
But,don't expect an 'automatic win' this week, lets see how this plays out. As i just go from week too week.

I beg too differ,
Cincy has a good chance of winning as much as yer Cowboys do. [players not Coachs],as that is another matter as i'll be harping ifn the Bengals lose in thier own house.:-)

Not when it comes to our Cowboys! This rule doesn't apply to every win. We do support our team and we want for them to play better. The Cowboys did beat and division foe that is going nowhere, but barely. Maybe I'm too critical of Romo, but he shouldn't treat this like if they won a playoff game and he should have stated that the team needed to play and get better because the Bengals are a tougher team.

Dallasfan77 and myself feel the same way. We don't celebrate .500. We have been Cowboy fans for over 35 years, so we want them to play better and we are extremely passionate about our favorite team. But we are also realistic.

I never got too see the real game, but it was very close and many points on the board from both.
After the dust settled? The Cowboys made it thru a high scoring game,And that? Ain't so bad. Kudos!

Just saying that the Cowboys need to focus on the Bengals and rest on their laurels.

You two give Cowboys fans a bad name. You won't hear me run down my team after every game.

i agree w/ Total Package completely. a fan for 35+ yrs and attended countless games in support of this team, including Jimmy's 1-15 season when season ticket holders would not get out of their cars if it was cool or drizzling. i scalped some real good tickets back in those days for dirt cheap prices.
i'm still a fan today and always will be, but this group is so different from the disciplined team of the 90s it gets hard to watch. no i don't celebrate .500 seasons or wins over teams that are at the bottom of the league. and I don't run this team down after every game, but many here do and i do agree with most of what they say.
you have to be realistic, if you are old enough to have seen the SB teams of the 90s. not say we need that team.... we will never have that team and to win in the league today, you don't have to have that talent level. but this team lacks many things and after yrs of this type play it becomes frustrating - and some of that frustration may come out on FN.
i have seen countless posts very similar to the things i've said about the cowboys and i don't see any other poor responses coming from guns n guitars like the one we received. so again, you don't like what i say.... tough ****!!! i think fans that cling on to false hope like our owner/gm, are pretty sad. when this team accomplishes a little more than beating 2 win teams or teams that have rookie QBs and a third of their team injuried..... i'll give credit where it's due. but i'm not blowing smoke up someone's as* or pretending this team is a winner because until changes are made we are stuck in .500 ball.

Are they suppose to be a homer and not see reality...

I don't consider myself a homer but there are many other teams that don't even approach average. I also see problems with this team but I don't trash them after every game and try to remain positive. A real fan can be disappointed in the team's performance without constantly berating them.

Thats because they have low expectations of their teams. How can you be disappointed and not berate them? All I was trying to say that Romo should have used the interview to set a strong tone for the week.

I dont' always berate our team, but I'm also realistic. DallasFan77 and myself would love to be wrong about our team and quarterback, but that won't be realistic of us.

I agree to a point. Don't you think after so many seasons of failure that 'someone' would think changing how things are done would be in the best interest of the club and fans? I think more than anything that is what irks a lot of fans not just some who are on here posting.
