MMA  > General MMA  > UFC = poor quality fight cards!

I've been out of the loop for a bit and it looks as if things have been a bit dull in this MMA foram. I don't claim to be the Savior but would like to help put some life back into it.

Now Is it me or has the UFC totally watered down its fight cards? To many events equal poor fight cards. @ $60 a pop for PPV we should be getting 2 main event fights. 1 title fight and one top contender fight. (like guys who are one shot from a title shot away)

I'm sick of being offered Junk cards. I want my $$ to be spent wisely. They are feeding us to many TUF guys who arent that good.

Maybe it's me. Somebody tell me I'm wrong or tell me I'm right

I do agree with this.

The Silva-Bonnar and GSP-Condit cards were not enough to steal $50 from my pocket for. I mean Carmont and Pablo Garza belong of FX at the best, damn sure not on PPV. Condit/Diaz had two decent fights. And a fight like Palhares vs Lombard is going on FX under a completely irrelavent FW fight. Their matchmaking is making less and less sense every year.

I am a broke **** student and Dana is going to have to work much harder to swindle $50 for me than that next time.

Meant Condit/GSP above, not Diaz.

I enjoyed Condit/GSP card. I thought it was money well spent. Now the Bonner and Silva card was pretty lame but the main fight was good in the sense how he knocked out Bonner. UFC cards are 10x better then boxing. The problem with the ufc injuries are making them water down. But they do have great intentions of putting together great cards.

I personally have been enjoying the action. Besides, you can always run down to whatever joint doesn't have a cover charge and nurse a couple of brews if you don't want to pony up.

It's 12/12/12...Isn't Pacquiao/Marquez 12 supposed to be on tonight?

There are cards constantly on now. UFC 154 was 3 weeks ago, then the UFC on Fox was this past weekend, then we have two cards this weekend, then UFC 155 is in 2 weeks. You're getting more MMA now so cards will be less stacked and this isn't even including the ridiculous amount of injuries that are going on. I swear I go to an MMA site and there's another injury almost on a daily basis. So its either you want less cards which means less free cards or you just don't pay the $50 and watch reruns of Who's the Boss.

True. I read Dana Whites goal is to get away from ppv and have fights regularly on tv for free like all major sports.
