If Dallas beats Washington, the Giants are automatically eliminated from playoff contention.
I can be a Dallas Cowboy fan, if only for one week.

Hate to bust your hopes there but the outcome of the Wash/Dallas game is irrelevant to the Giants.
They're only hope of making the playoffs now is a loss by Chicago and Minn and they must win there game.
Bull if they make the playoffs this year they could be very dangerous, the comebacks lately have been very good. Why don't they just let Romo scramble and play hurry up all game? That is when that offense is scary good.
In my observation of said game, Brees and company couldn't be stopped. So, in the OT period, I was left to wonder why the Cowboys didn't go for it on 4th down? Give the ball back to Brees and he'd beat you regardless. So, why not chance the 4th down, with a better than 50/50 chance of making the 1st? If you punt, they were going to score, and if you didn't make the 1st, they were still going to score..........I'd have taken my chances on 4th down myself.

The Cowboys only hope if they make the playoffs, is to outscore their opponents..... The defense, although game, is still susceptible to being run out of town. Especially if there's no pass rush of any kind. There wasn't any with the Saints.
I believe, barring major injuries like this year, that next year will be a really good one for the 'Boys. All of these people that they found on practice squads, on the street, or someone else's back ups, have gotten some play time experience, so it'll be easier to "plug and play", and not skip too many beats.
I still find it hard to believe that they can win the NFC East just by beating the Redskins, even after losing to the Saints. Crazy division, eh? But, entertaining anyway.
I wish I could answer your question, but I have no clue. I'd have Romo bootlegging..play action...no huddle.... until the opponent could stop it.

That was a very close game decided by OT,Not something easily done, but Yer Cowboys got thier playoff hopes with the Skins.
I think the Cowboys are up for the task. Best of Luck.

Thanks EZ. Win or lose, I think the Cowboys will be better next year, mainly due to things that happened this year.

Plain and simple... gotta run the ball consistently to protect the Defense.
Time of possession is critical for us right now (as the Saints game made clear).

and turnovers! i.e. NOT making them.
A word of caution. When JJ thinks the team is better than they really are, he tends to draft more stupidly. If they can put a good draft together there may be some real hope!!!

Cowboys fan or not, THIS is my goal. Die Giants, DIE!

A very harsh comment indeed.

I agree. Run the ball, and run the time off the clock, but they HAVE to score more than field goals, like they seem to like to do on their first possession. Keep the defense on the field as little as possible. Ware is hurting, so not sure how much of a factor he'll be.

Can't afford a single one, if you ask me.

The Giants still can make the playoffs but need to rely on other teams qualify.

Thats a fact,
But theres a few teams that either have too win or lose for that too happen.
But anythings possible. And theres alot of fans that don't care for the G-men in any playoff picture/chance or capacity.
