Poor Lovie Smith- You have a 10-6 season and get fired. When you give management a list of things and players you need to win a championship and fail, this is what happens, Chicago now will have to rebuild again.

Lovie is always close to success but can't close the deal.

If Ryan could teach Tebow or Sanchez to pass a football as well as he passes the buck for his teams failures they wouldn't have a QB controversy.

Ole Fat Cheeks wanted Tebow as much as John Fox did. But Fox was able to utilize him and win. Ryan never gave the guy a shot.

Tebow never got a chance to play.

Sure he did. The problem for him was all the back stabbing Jets players that refused to play for/with him. Some day Tebow will get it out of his mind that he is a legitimate NFL QB, he is not, he is a great enthusiast and leader of the game, he could still be a leader of the team at RB or TE . When he and whomever his next coach might be realizes that Tebow would be better suited at RB or TE then they will move him to that position and design plays where he could occasionally throw the ball.

The 49ers drafted two college QBs in Arnez Battle from Nortre Dame and Michael Robinson from Penn State. Both were able to play well at different positions where had they not, their names would never be called on.

At one point, I actually thought Battle was going to be a pretty good reciever, but he never progressed. And Robinson was a good 3rd down back, but also flamed out.

I think Tebow will inevitably fizzle out and leave the game.

It is preposterous to say that Tebow isn't a legitimate QB after he led the Broncos to a playoff win over tghe Steelers last season. Elway never had a chance in New York playing under a defensive minded coach like Rex Ryan in a toxic enviroment.

Elway, Tebow. Same thing.

I believe Tebow will be successful with the right team.

Here's your chance to tell the world what team he should go to. You must have a team in mind, right? The only team I have heard that is remotely interested in him is Jacksonville. I have said from day one that one of the Florida teams should have drafted him for the sole purpose of increasing ticket sales. Something that has been a big problem for all three teams over the past few years. Again I thought one of those teams should have signed him when Denver was about to give him the old heave-ho.

Let me ask you a simple question, if you were able to acquire either Tim Tebow or Alex Smith, whom would you take ? Both will be available at the end of the season.

Looks like Andy Reid is singing " Kansas City here I come". He's giving up Philly Cheese steaks for Kansas City Bar-B-Que.

I agree with you but he'll never have any success with the Jets.
