Wow....

Feel even more strongly about this after last night...

Listen! Right now the Lakers are stuck. They made such a big investment to bring Dwight Howard and Steve Nash that they have no choice but to see it through until the end. Both Pau Gasol and MWP are virtually untradeable and we we all know that Kobe is off the market. That guy is going to retire a Laker for sure. Other than that, they have virtually nothing to bargain with. Their bench sucks and the team is completely capped out and cannot do anything until the off season when they will finally have use of the mid level exemption in the hope of attracting somebody worthwhile in the free agent market.

The right thing to do is hang tight and brave the storm. The Lakers will be ok in the end. They'll make the playoffs and make a run... How well will they do in the playoffs?... That's another story...

The Lakers need to fire D'Antoni.

Nash needs to go and Kobe needs to be dealt.

For what and who, I do not know...just that is LA's problem.

If the Nets wants Howard package him with Nash for Lopez, Humpheries, Wallace and a CJ Watson.
If Atlanta wants Howard package him with Nash for Smith, Harris, Kover, and Dahntay Jones.

Lakers do not own the rights to Howard, they can not do anything to him...they would be better off not signing him, he is not a max contract player, his offensive is weak

And they better prey the Kobe can still score 27 a game

Get rid of everyone but Kobe. Acquire some young guns. Give Kobe the ball. Lakers are the #2 seed in next years playoffs.
