NFL  > General NFL  > JAMARCUS RUSSELL: PLANNING A FOOTBALL COMEBACK ?
January 23, 2013, 03:06 PM
Don't choke on your Purple Drank and Jambalaya. There was movement at the Russell household, yes Jamarcus fell off the couch rolled across the floor and when he stopped he said to his posse " I feel like playing football ". They all laughed untll they all realized that Jamarcus had no more money and the Drank was running low.

Jamarcus hasn't committed himself to getting in condition, yes he is still the 350+ pound blob he was before. But the ever demanding Russell says he would like to continue his career where he left off, sitting on the bench collecting all kinds of money. Isn't that the American dream after all?

I hope Jerry Jones doesn't sign him.

I thought I saw Rob Ryan and Jamarcus Russell standing in the unemployment line, it was the line for double wide applicants. They made such a fine site standing there stomach to stomach talking and laughing about their days in Oakland together and how the 2 of them destroyed the Raider franchise without even letting Tim Brown in on the secret.

-ripper- : That is just wrong man. That is just wrong. FUNNEH ... But wrong.

In other news, the Jets have signed Jamarcus to a 3 year contract worth about $13M a year. The Jets stated that all Jamarcus needed was a chance to rehabilitate his self esteem.

He was guaranteed $32 million. I think he is no longer on the payroll.

Russell will have to lose over 100 lbs. Even if he were to start daily workouts now there is not much of a chance he could get down to playing weight by June. I guess he thinks that there are a few more GM's that can be conned into giving him guaranteed long term contracts. Russell needs to spend a couple years in the CFL before any team will give him a chance in the NFL again.

The NFL Network now says that Russell was guaranteed $39 million and has spent most of it. Russell says he only weights 310, That is still about 75 pounds overweight for his height. He should weigh between 230 and 240, unless he plans to come back as an Offensive tackle.

He spent most of his money on buffets and nose candy.

Usually the second of those choices negates the first one.

You're right but Jamarcus is in a class by himself.

I'm all for equal opportunity . . . Maybe an ex-Bolt can come back, too . . .Take us to the promised land, Ja & Ry! "Knock it off!" "Don't talk to me!"

From the looks of that picture, someone is still having a problem with their "Anger Management" Smile Ryan you have a roof over your head, 3 squares a day, and some of the best health care money can buy, now get in shape, the CFL awaits you.
