has nothing to do with his ability to play football. the story I heard this morning does get creepier by the day though. the person he was speaking to for all those months is really a guy! OUCH!!!

there were definitely some questionable decisions, but if he was that naive about the whole online experience he was an easy mark.

This whole story is so bizarre I cannot even really figure it all out. All I know is the dude lied the girl on the phone was actually a dude who was changing his VOICE. WTF... sounds to me like the he was carrying on a relationship with a man and I believe he knows exactly what is going on. All the god bs and other stuff just fluff to make him look innocent. He is WAY GAY imo...which should have no impact on his football play. If he aint Gay then he is just plain stupid. JMO

I just don't get why this story is headline fodder. ****? Gay or not gay. Man or woman. Stupid or naive. WHY DO SOME PEOPLE CARE SO MUCH?

Sign of the times. And for some it seems like a good story. I didn't think it would last this long so didn't pay any attention but this thing won't die so I finally read a story about it yesterday. Rule of thumb - if you get an unsolicited communication from someone you don't know, run..don't walk!!!

for one it takes 2 weeks to figure this crazyass crap out. then another week to process the sillyness.

You know this week in L.A. proof that the Catholic Church has been hiding child raping priests from Police for decades should be bigger news than this guy who played on the biggest Catholic school and had a pretend girl friend.

Why do people watch TMZ or read the National Inquirer? The news has been dumbed down over the past 20 years and stories like this become national headlines.

The guy is gullible and near the end figured it out and lied to try not to expose himself for what had happened. The guy Tuiasosopo who pulled off the hoax on Te'o used his female cousin as the voice on the phone.

It shouldn't really harm his draft stock the guy can play in the NFL he will just have this gullible label attached to him and ridiculed all of his career.

I don't know what's worse a gullible Te'o or Lance Armstrong's doping and lying about it.

I know I should have worded it differently I agree Armstrong's is worse but both are making headlines on a daily basis and to hear some talk about Te'o and the ridicule and jokes it begged me to ask the question.
