JJ needs to sell the Cowboys if the 49ers win the Super Bowl.

Why does the 49ers winning the Super Bowl have anything to do with Jones? We Cowboy's fans have been hoping Jones would sell the team for many years now.

The Niners are rivals and its already bad enough that the Steelers have more Super Bowls than we do.

Why is it so insulting to you that the Steelers have more Super Bowls than the Cowboys? The Steelers draft and develop most of their players and don't look for the quick fix in free agency like Jerry does.

I agree with you GnG.
It may take the Steelers and 49'ers to get 3 or 4 SB's ahead of JJ to get him to stop playing Al Davis. Nothing else has seemed to work. If anything, he's gotten worse, and I really don't see much improvement (if any) from all these coaching changes.

Heck, even the Cardinals might have a few SB's before JJ gets another one.

The team and stadium is a cash cow for JJ. The family will never sell.

dallas is as about as close to being a SB team as any of the other .500 teams in this league and that's not too close. but JJ and family will always be owners of this team. we are stuck with this group of owners.... and can only hope stephen doesn't want to play the same sad role his father has played the last 15 yrs.

Just because they need pretty much an entire o-line, a few more players for the d-line, definitely a WR or two and a healthy Demarco Murray. Just for starters. Feel free to pile on!! HA!!!

Exactly. Now if the person had posted several weeks ago that the Cowboys need to beat Washington or Jerry Jones should sell the team then that would have made sense. The Cowboys in that final game of the season went from a playoff contender to 3rd place in the NFC East.

Now the question for 2013 season will be: What if Chip Kelly turns Philadelphia around and Washington and the NYG's retain their level of play? Dallas would drop into the NFC East cellar and maybe in a couple of years work their way up/down to secure the #1 draft pick overall, would they draft a QB then, or stick with Romo till he decides to hang up the cleats? Some Mock Drafts are saying that the Cowboys will start the QB transition this year and will take Matt Barkley in the 1st round.

A team with as many holes as they have and not much cap space is not going to the Super Bowl, unless (as the old line goes), they buy a ticket.

At least you are optimistic.

Not insulting insulting at all. Both are great organizations, just sharing frustration over how JJ is and has been handling the team.

LOL... thought you guys knew my true feelings. i'm not optimistic about this team at all! it was a poor attempt at a joke. one of our MANY problems is JJ can't draft, trade or negotiate contracts. buying a ticket, as TxHeat says, is our best shot at a SB for years to come.
