Gag! Congrats to the Ravens. The Niners couldn't pull it off even with the golden opportunity at the end.

For those that join Mike and Mike by blasting the no call on 4th down, don't fall down 28-6 to begin with. I believe the Niners played a game most teams would have won by. But missed opportunities and ,let's face it, good fortune for Baltimore were too much for the boys to overcome.

Two turnovers both led to Batimore TDs and the 2nd half kickoff return for a TD really killed the 49ers. They had more passing yards and almost 100 more rushing yards than the Ravens, but they lost the stat that counts. It seemed like every time Flaco was about to be sacked, he pulled a rabbit out of the hat.

Oh well, it sucks, but there's always next year...

PS. Kaepernick may be one of the best QBs in the league. Its too early to say he is, but he could be....

Duke, congrats on the great year the Forty Niners had and on the fierce comeback that came up just short. And congrats on being the first Niners fan to show up on the Boards to discuss it. It's gotta be tough.

And yes, I thought it was pass interference on Smith. Crabtree had no chance to release to the corner. But ain't nothing gonna change, so whatever.

Ditto on ALL of ripper's comment!! WTG Niners!!

P.S. Duke - Kappy will make you proud for years to come! ;)

Smoochies everyone!!

The teams with the best record haven't fared well at the Super Bowl in the past few years. The team that gets hot in the playoffs seems to prevail. The Niners still had a great season but a Super Bowl win would have made it sweeter. I'm sure the Niners will be a contender for many years to come.

I understand the Gronk is a free spirit but that doesn't mean he has to do stupid things. A twice broken arm and he was smacking the floor with it??? WTF!!!

I'm beginning to think Gronk should wear a shock collar whenever he leaves Gillette.

He's being paid very well, so it may be time for that!!!

Hernendez is a very good TE so losing Gronk wouldn't be catastrophic.

Let's see. The Pats' last two post season games, one where he was way less than 100% and the other he missed. That would be 2 losses! Yes, Hernandez is good but with Gronk that offense is much more efficient.
