I have read where Beltran wants to stay in St. Louis after this season. Would you sign him for another year if Taveras only has an average year in Memphis. But if he has the same kind of season he had at Springfield in 12 would you let Beltran walk and give the right field position to Taveras.

A decision on Beltran, I believe will be made late in the year or after the season. I think you have to look at A) how Taveras performs B) how Beltran performs and C) what kind of shape Beltran's knees are in.

If Taveras has a great 2013 and they definitely think he's ready for the Show in 2014, then I think there is no way Beltran is brought back. They'll want to get Taveras to STL as soon as possible.

If Matt Adams can learn to hit breaking pitches, another option would be that he plays 1B, and Craig goes to RF next year if Oscar isn't ready.
