When does the pre-season start...the hell with baseball, can we just skip it!!!!!
I'm glad the football season is over with and look forward to the baseball season. If you crave NFL football just watch the Combine and then you can watch the NFL Draft.
I'm with ya, BG! Only sport I watch is pro football, and it's sorely missed here.............lol

I sure don't miss watching the Cowboys shoot themselves in the foot this past season.

I'm waiting for the draft,as I don't see Cincy getting any 'High rollers" in FA.

Why not, they have over 50 million that they have to spend...this is the first year that you must spend 92% of your cap...ching, ching in Cincy

Agreed!
It's an out-dated old man's sport.

BGD,
And a lot of that will go too our core players this year. but with the excess? They might go with a S,CB,LNBKR,maybe even a QB. btwould like to get a high pick for a RB that we really need and OT thru the draft.
So Brown might buy a couple of FAs but doubt he'll pay much for them. and the 'Ching-ching'sound is from Mike Brown screwing Cincy with that new stadium they overpaid for,and cut a lot of jobs in civil services our county needs.

Bull,
Yep I don't watch the REDS like I did many moons ago, and just follow the NFL oriented topics.

NICE!!!
TH,
From what I've read JJ is doing everything he can too help out the Cowboys ,as he hires/fires peeps on monthly basis.
Dallas isn't one of his other corporations ,he can tweak at will.

But today that fool contradicted himself from a few weeks ago when he said Garrett would not be calling the plays and today he said it's up to Garrett. Go figure. Talk about a rudderless frickin ship!!

What up EZ...
This salary cap rule was put in for cheap skate owners like yours and my team have...this is how it goes down.
You spend 92% of your salary cap on the salaries of your players...or donate the difference to the NFLPA and they split it up evenly...you think Mike Brown is dumb enough to pay other teams.
Like I said...ching, ching

BGD,
It still gets down too paying our core players ,and yep Mike Brown is a notorious cheapskate so I hope they do bring in some great FAs with whatever he has left too spend.
And he should give any extra cash too Hamilton county so ka-ching ,it'll never happen.

He probably was drunk at the time as that's where he makes his important decesions ,then forgets it the next day.

The most successful NFL teams build through the draft and ignore over paying high priced free agents. The smart teams always operate well und salary cap.

EZ..
We know the rookies can no longer cripple they salary cap, since they are in a locked in system...
So Mike Brown is going to pay somebody on that roster 92% of the salary cap.
If not my Bears will love the bonus check...

DD,
I agree as buying FAs in the past hasn't worked out and we got a ton of FAs too resign this year.

The Bengals have one of the youngest and most talented rosters in the NFL. Mike Brown deserves credit for getting rid of over-the-hill, high priced veterans. The trade he made with Oakland was one of the best I've seen in a long time.
