NFL  > General NFL  > The Steelers are gleaning diamonds.

Remember last year when, between picks 6 and 20 something there were 14 CB's/WR's that came off the board?

We selected David DeCastro and Mike Adams - 2 Olinemen. DeCastro was injured much of this year but that's not the point. The point is that because other teams made a run on 2 positions, the Steelers got arguably the best Olineman in the draft with their #1. Then got another with the #2. Special thanks to the other teams for leaving so many on the board!

So, when teams did that again this year with OL and DL's (taking 15 between 1 and 20 something) we took one of the best LB's in the draft and followed that up with the ideal RB for what we do in Pittsburgh.

We need a DL as well, but since there was a run on that this year it's safe bet there wont be another run on them next year - and we can pick one up then.

Good strategy by Tomlin and Colbert.

While other teams are reaching and fighting over the bones, we just kind of move on to another area.

And now we can add Marcus Weaton from ORST to that - according to some, one of the best WR's in the draft.

Only time will tell.

I think most teams in the NFL got some great picks.
