I saw this as well. It shouldn't really surprise anyone that he was released - the question is, where does he go from here?

Does another team sign him as a QB or bring him in as a TE? (where I think his skill set is better suited).

I don't think it matters to AIYK where Tebow is, or what he's doing.

He never has played tight end or any other position except QB. To play tight end he'd be required to block, catch passes and run good routes which he never did. I suspect he will catch on with some NFL team as a backup QB.

After closely watching the draft there are very few teams that do not already have a starter, backup and project QB already. I can't think of any team that would be interested.

The only trade offers he received were at either TE or HB. HB suits him with his previous wildcat experience. Or Canada...

You are probably right. I don't see him playing any position but QB.

Oh great....now he's gonna end up in Vegas playing for the freaaaaakin' Locomotives.

*sigh*

I think Bill Bellichoke will invite him to camp him as a trick play player.......

QUOTE(#10):

Nope. Wider, longer field. QBs actually have to throw more in Canada, so that's not a good fit. Unless its as a personal punt protector in the CFL.

I agree with what your saying but the 'experts' from around the league seem to think the CFL is a good landing spot for him.

No matter how you look at it, the guy is yesterday's headline and the NFL has moved on. Doubt very many people will care if he is on the Argonauts or a 3rd stringer in South Beach.
