NFL  > General NFL  > FanNation has become so dead ....

Their servers are having a coming out party, they are running the Debian Linux distribution or better put Ubuntu.

They have free and open sourced software loaded on their Hard Drives and do not have to deal with social implications from being a Microsoft or Apple product.

But they do have to deal with small minded Mods, that alone gets my sympathy.

Or is everything automated.

Based on the outdated content and links, it's obvious there isn't even a casual glace in the sites direction.

Sounds like I had bad timing on joining this site

Only the NFL threads here are dead, it's only because it's the off season. the NBA, NHL and Baseball threads are active. It'll pick up when training camp starts. :)

Except for the normal site neglect. Like the TD boards.

Some people would say I didn't either. But it used to be a place where you could discuss topics in depth. With a wide range of fans.

No, but they let bugs go to the point it became a waste of time. It's been the general lack of maintaining the site. Weekly polls and vids left up for months, the same content rotating over and over. Even the so called improvements are left to grow cobwebs.

May 2, 2013  08:25 PM ET

Yep,

alot of ancient threads that are dredged up as well.

Ahh, I see.. sounds as if FN lacks the funds to maintain the site properly.. I'll be happy as long the Truth and Rumors section is up and running!! :) I've noticed similar problems affectinfg other sports sites. NFL.com is doing away with their War Rooms and Forums.

Like Hot Clicks. The same for stories rotating over and over, but if you actually go to go to the site, there is fresh content.
