Place your personal (or other) photos here in the GROUP photo journal. Now if I can just remember how to post them....HA!
May 3, 2013  01:42 PM ET

If anyone remembers (lol, why did I post this before remembering how tooo) how to cut and paste photos to here, I'd appreciate the info....LOL

May 3, 2013  09:55 PM ET

1. upload your photo to your images section.
2. copy the location and tinyurl the link.
3. quote any comment and place the formula in the comment box with the tinyurl link.
4. type a comment in the empty comment box and hit submit.

I used a picture of Tim Tebow and the Jets because they are both absurdly funny and easy pickin's. LOL

I think I'm technologically inept. I can't make the tinyurl thing work to post pics.

Will this work for personal (non web related) photos too?

I'm not that computer savvy to know how to post non-web pics, but I know it can be done. Do you know any tech guys at FN such as YODA? So many have left FN for facebook it's hard to tell just who's still posting here at FN.

You might need a digital camera and upload them to your hard drive and then post them in your images but as I said, I have seen others post their personal vacation photos but have no clear idea of how they do it.

I don't know just what the problem is, but if you find a pic you want to post and it's from the web and you don't want to post it in your images just copy image location and take that to tinyurl.com and paste it in the space provided. Hit make tiny url, copy the http url that shows up and using the formula above post it in a thread at FN.

It really sounds harder than it is but keep trying.

Yeah, I own a digital camera, that was the reason I was asking. Was going to post a few pics of the "Man cave" when it was finished...lol. Black lights and all! I tried Facebook when it first came out for a year, and then found out some nasty things about it....like they track your every more and that they keep a file on you even after you leave. It takes something like over a year after leaving to even consider dumping you from their hard-drive. If you ever go back and sign in, the process starts all over from scratch. Millions of people with no idea they're being monitored 24/7. YIKES!

Good info. I used to know a lot of these things, but like most tech stuff...you snooze you lose! HA!

Funny thing about Facebook. Some other friends I made on FN have joined Facebook and encouraged me to join too. After years of telling them I'd never do it because Facebook is evil, I relented and joined in March of this year. Last week I logged in and was checking out the news feed and my profile page when suddenly I saw a message pop up on the screen telling me they received feedback that I wasn't who I said I was, that FB was a community social media site where real names are required. In order to verify my identity I need to send them my cell phone number and they will text me a code that once typed in the space provided will enable my account. Until then my account is disabled. I don't own a cell phone or any device that sends or receives text messages so I can't verify that I am who I say I am.

I say it again, FACEBOOK IS EVIL.

That is VERY WEIRD and CREEPY...yet EXACTLY what I'm saying too. It took me for ever to get them away from me, and every so often they send me a message letting me know in no uncertain terms they know where I am. Microsoft is in some ways the same thing. They get into your computer and check where you go on the internet (like many others now) or what kind of software you are using. These organizers of Twitter, Facebook, and Microcrap are all paranoid weirdos I suspect. Narcissistic web ****. Look at England (London in particular) with all the surveillance cameras on every street corner....1984 girl...1984.

I swear the print they use at FN is getting smaller every year.
