Ok, CFB coaches, and their assistants, should know better than to call Saban "The Devil Himself" (Florida O-line coach Tim Davis???). He's good, but not that good. I'm sure all of us here on the CFB msg board realize he os only Lucifer's vessel, not Lucky Lucy himself; at least the headline was correct "This is not news".

GR and all you other Gators need to send emails to your coaches so they don't embarrass themselves again, and all you 'Big Game Bob' aka Sooners need to update him on PC type stuff, and to let him know who he is actually messin with.

Her is how Nick gained his Vessel:

Here is how Nick gained his Vessel status

We have no clips of Saban's actual encounter, not even sure if Lucy gave him a copy. If anyone has Bama (or Lucy) contacts and can obtain a copy please post...

Pleenty of examples of others and their encounter, tho for some reason most are guitarists. Go figger, but post your best one.

Aren't many ways out, but Ralph Maccio found one:

As did Charly Daniels with a fiddle (reconstructed, not actual footage of event):

I think it was somewhere after his deal with Eric went 'south', so-to-speak, that Lucy stopped concentraiting so heavily on Guitarists and branched out into Football coaches:
After deal, but before reclamation:

After getting his soul back:

You know, I'm hoping Joe Kidd drops the Coach Saint Saban angle and comes with his grade B-for-Bama prime erudition in retort.

We aren't sure if this is how Eric reclaimed his own soul, but one version is he did it in a dule against the 'Lucky Lucy Rock HOF' First ballot Enshrinee Hendrix (other 1st ballot enshrinee were Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin, quite an honor):

Relative unknown gives some insightinto contract and ramifications and possible escape clauses...

May 17, 2013  01:40 PM ET

BTW, Lucy's deal with Jim M was a bit diff than most 'crossroads' type deals, but never accuse Lucy of being stuck in his ways:

And of course Rod Serling seemed to know all too much on the subject as exhibited in the "Escape Clause" episode:

According to sources Mick Jagger has actually received several contract extensions but will surely be a 1st balloter also:

And BTW, RIP Alvin Lee, didn't know you passed, way sad dude, Hope your contract was with the competition...

grade B-for-Bama

Why should the reigning champs be downgraded to 'B' Status? They're in plug-n-play mode, another SEC title would be no surprise and neither would another BCS Championship game appearance.

For a self proclaimed "enlightened fan" you sure are a very sloppy meatcrafter!

Saban was a coach when I played at OSU, he was a perfectionist and very serious about defense. He was our DB coach.

You know, I'm hoping Joe Kidd drops the Coach Saint Saban angle and comes with his grade B-for-Bama prime erudition in retort.

All insider info/insight is welcome. This thread is, after all, about enlightening and informing; making the CFB public just a little smarter.

Barring that, at least eljoy some old classics...
