The bullpen continues to be a source of concern, and it gets even more concerning with the return of Mitchell Boggs.

Am I the only one that has much more confidence in the young guys - Maness, Martinez, Rosenthal, etc - than I do in the vets like Salas and Boggs? I know the young guys will take their lumps at times, but they still give me more confidence when they take the mound.

Last night, 2-1 lead, two men on, two out and Salas comes in. He immediately gives up a hit to tie the game......then walks a guy to load the bases......then hits the next batter ( on an 0-2 pitch) to send in the go ahead run. Boggs then delivers a home run ball on his first pitch back from the minors.

I may be over-reacting, but I'm of the mind to leave Boggs and Rzepcynski at Memphis and send Salas there too.

100% agree.

Now that Boggs and Rzep are gone, the bullpen isn't as scary.
