Here's hoping. If anyone can knock him off, it's Weidman. Silva sounds in interviews like he is ok with this fight win or lose. He just wants to box Jones Jr. and call it a day is what it sounds like to me..

When do you place your bet? Odds are slowly tightening.

Off topic but you giving Hendricks a chance against GSP?

Here's hoping. I don't think GSP can smother him but I'm afraid Hendricks will get frustrated and head hunt with the big left all night and lose the decision.

Don't we have a bet going for this fight? I know we made one but I can't recall the amount.

Weidman's wrestling still isn't as good as Chael's, and his grappling still isn't as good as Maia or Jacare's. The fact that he seems to have a combination of decent wrestling and decent submissions makes him a slightly dangerous task for Anderson, but the reality is that Anderson has 25 minutes to land that one big strike; one jab, one knee, one kick, one elbow, that is all it takes with this guy. I still don't think Chris will actually submit him, his best chance is to try to recreate Sonnen/Silva I, and I just don't see it happening.

Dude cuts way too much weight to be in a 25 minute fight with the most dangerous fighter in the sport.

Hendricks is just Kos-light in my opinion. I still think it is pretty easy to see Kos won their fight on Fox. I wish there was a legit contender out there for GSP, but I just don't think there is right now. He lost to Kondit too while I'm on the topic. I'm not saying he isn't a great fighter, but squeaking out decisions to guys GSP dominated does not speak well for your chances.

The Kos-Hendricks fight, I see your point and it was a toss up. Kos was favored and didn't wanna be there and Hendricks never got close to finishing him. The Condit fight was another story. Hendricks clearly won and is getting his shot at the champ. I do however agree that GSP sadly rides out a decision when Bigg Rigg can't find a home for the left hand.

The only thing that fight showed was that Weidman isn't all that....he beat a guy that was mocking him with closed eyes, not a guy that was taking him seriously...a serious Silva would destroy Weidman...

Very glad to see Weidman take the belt and also to see Munoz look more like the fighter of old, all while rocking the ORANGE. Good card overall. Only bad spot was watching Leben, he might need to hang em up.
