NFL  > General NFL  > Which teams will be in the playoffs this year and why.
July 3, 2013, 01:04 AM
Peeps,

I think Cincy will be in the playoffs this year, and roll over theTexans,[ if need be].

The Bengals have so much talent.[on paper] will not be denied this year.

Cincy's "D" is one of the best in the NFL. And the rest of the League should take note.

And with the additions of our Rookie TE and RB,will make Andy Dalton's job are lot more easier and alot more potent.

He doesn't need a cannon for an arm,and doesn't need one.

This team is ready too rock, and the window is open this year, for them too make it too the AFC CShip and maybe further.

Please, tell us why yer team will reach that mile stone.

Let's discuss.

Peeps,

Just post yer favorite team and share yer opinion on yer team's chance of making the playoffs.

Right now,Cincy is a 25-1 chance of making the playoffs and winning the super bowl.

Eagles have a rookie head coach, a brand new offense, a brand new defense, a question mark at quarterback, and no realistic chance of reaching the postseason.

Un,

There's always a chance of the Eagles might reverse thier karma, and shock everyone,as this usualy happens too 1 or 2 teams, that come under the radar.

Because of thier previous seasons. And since it's a brand new season?

Anythings possible. And yer new HC ,Just might surprise ,as Philly's winning more games this year,

And may win alot more games than too be expected.

Good Luck with yer Philly's,and keep the faith,As yer new HC may shock the fans, and the whole team, starts too gel.

This happened too Cincy in 2009.

Colts have to be the favorite in their division.

FW,

They did great with the rook QB,"Delivered as advertised",RG3 as well.

I'm definately going too be watching both teams this season,as both QBs are very good.

I wish we had 1 of them.

From last year?

I would say the Falcons and Seahawks are just as capable too make the playoff runs as well.

As they did pretty good last year.

But,that's the exciting part of the game,ya never know "Whoam",may change thier destiny.

arent they in the same division as houston...?

thats the favorite until proven otherwise. not knocking the colts but they won a lot of close games last year and in the nfl thats not something that carries over from season to season because it has a lot to do with luck. a weird bounce here, a missed call there, ect. they had a negative turnover differential (one of the worst in the league) and a point differential that put their expected win loss at 7-9...but sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

i will take the texans as the fave until indy can put together a more consistant season.

QUOTE(#11):

That is under the assumption that Aaron Rodgers plays all season with out injury...The Green Bay Packers are a one trick pony of Aaron Rodgers.

you could make that argument for practically any team. its a qb driven league...how successful are the pats, broncos, saints, ect. without their qbs?

im not in the business of predicting injuries because theres no way to know. its random. gb isnt perfect but with rodgers under center theyre as dangerous as anyone.

30-1 where I work.

July 5, 2013  05:49 PM ET

Speaking of odds, the Raiders are 200-1 and the Jags & Cards are 300-1.

To me the best bet would be the Packers at 12-1, but this is July who knows.

HnS,

The Cards,

Are gonna surprise this year. GB has been a disapointment though, After that 15-1 run and loss too the G-Men.

July 5, 2013  08:31 PM ET

Chargers are something like 60-1 to win the SB. Not looking good, but as they said in Dumb & Dumber when that gal told him his chances with her were a million to one, "So you're telling me there's a chance! YES!" Gonna be another long year in SD, I'm afraid. At least Charger fans won't have to listen to Norv say "Oh, shucks . . ." while he explains away another bonehead way to lose a game anymore.

July 5, 2013  08:44 PM ET

The Packers will definitely make the playoffs. Green Bay will have both an improved offense with more attention be given to the running game and the defense will improve with some guys coming back from injury and our #1 pick Jones will make a difference.
