NBA  > Minnesota Timberwolves  > Next stop for the ESPN hobos?

Now that we've played around a bit I'm thinking there are to many shortcomings with this board:

1. Threads disappear when the reach the bottom of the page.

Do we really need a number 2? If you're away from the board for an hour you could pretty much miss everything. Not to mention trolls could flood the board making it useless.

Well like I said before I will continue to maintain http://minnesotasports.enjin.com/forum

Theres still this one that kekgeek made. http://timberwolvestalk.freeforums.net/board/1/general-board

It is blocked at my work, so really sucks for me, but I guess that is just me eh.

That's not really a thing around here.

I mean... you've got a couple FN regulars razzing on you cause you're the new guys. But nothing malicious. And that's really just the rest of us taking interest in all the inflow of new people; it's outside the norm.

Regardless. There is the option of creating private groups. That allows you to control who can read/post on your blogs and message boards.

Hey I am here from ESPN. Where is Lipoli. We are his minions coming here. I think Talk Vikes and other Minnesota sports will be my primary site now to discuss Minnesota Sports. Try it JD you will like it.

I agree. This site doesn't make the grade. On to plan B!

Yes I do. I love this town. Transferred from Hell otherwise known as Lake Havasu.

SP, please elaborate on your comment about threads disappearing when they reach the bottom of the page. There are 28 pages of threads in the "NBA general" section, so it doesn't look like threads have disappeared there. Am I missing something? What evidence do we have about threads disappearing?

July 6, 2013  04:12 PM ET

Threads are easy to find after dropping off the first page. Click on NBA and it will likely be quite high on the list. And a post will bring it back to the top of the main message board page.

Nice. I know Havasu well. I lived in Kingman and now Dewey (Prescott Valley)

The Timberwolves forum appears to be limited to 15 active threads, if a new thread is added the oldest disappears.

Why would they do that? Threads regarding a single subject don't belong in the general forum nor should they appear there and disappear from this forum. I have no interest in having to search outside of the Timberwolves forum for threads that were started here, what a horrible idea!!

They don't disappear, merely get bumped to page two. A post bumps it back to the top. Threads are oredered by most recent activity.

Also, click on NBA, then Minnesota, and your thread becomes even easier to find.

Yep. Nerby sure does comment a lot.

I was wondering about that too. When I first signed up I only saw like 6 posts under the Timberwolves. I don't even see anything related to multiple pages. Not next page button, etc.

Do you see it now? Also, click on the community tab from time to time, might find other areas of interest or activity to post in. Shows current posts in the public threads.
