NBA  > Minnesota Timberwolves  > Don't Slip on Flip

Many were hurt with what Flip did in the draft, but please don't be so fast to judge. I think he did a pretty good job considering the circumstances. I do think we should have gotten Utah to Rid us of Luke in the Trey Burke deal. You just don't help out a division rival that easy but it wasn't horrible and nothing to dawg on Flip over. Selling 26 pick was frustrating to most, shouting take a Euro **** draft in stash over that BS!!!! But C'mon Man (click link below for Chris Carter C'mon man)

However can you really blame flip for netting a future 2nd and getting in the good graces of Taylor by picking up some cash. Also when we lose our pick to PHX Flip might remind Taylor of when he sold the 26th pick and ask for some cash to buy a pick in the future.

So we net Shabazz who the hatters will come to love, add Dieng a role player we will also come to love, (watch out for his high post passing). If Brown can learn to shoot he could dynamic and the Euro big man shooter is a possible asset down the road.

Free Agency to date = K. Martin and Chase Buddy are both familiar to Rick and should splash three balls.

I liked Flip as a coach, I will like him as a GM until he proves otherwise. Which by the way doesn't happen in just one year. I also think he makes moves via trade to either bring in nice assets or clear room to sign nice assets. Can't wait for next season and hopefully some good health to go along with it!

The overreaction was just that, it's waaaay to early to get down on the man.

If he finds a way to bring back Pek and AK im a giddy man for the start of the season.

Hi Guys, finally made it over to this board.

I am actually quite happy so far with the off season moves. The draft was fine, Muhammad at 14 was the BPA, and moving up for Dieng not only give us a NBA ready shot blocking center, but also allowed us to waive Steimsmas 2.5 mil contract.

Kevin Martin for just under 8 mil a season seems like the going price for a starting 2. Good fit next to pass first PG in Rubio and has valuable experience in Adelmans corner offense. Hopefully he can draw fouls at the rate he did in his prime.

Sounds like the Wolves are working on a sign n trade with AK. Anyone have any info on that?

Haven't heard anything about that, but i'd like to keep AK, the starting line up needs some defense cuz ricky can't do it alone.
