Any thoughts? Changes?

It is really hard to know what will happen with first year starters.

The homer in me asks where is Jeff Driskel, but I know better. Though I expect him to be a top 25 QB at the end of the year.

These are your very own rankings? Not copied from other sources?

Think you have Murray way too low. Best QB in the SEC

And, good for including Fales, he too, should be higher

Murray has a history of under performing in big games. IMO McCarron is the best.

Nope Nope and Nope

Anyone care bump?

#1 will not have the same results as last year, so IMO he is not #1. I'd put Mariota first, then Murray, Bridgewater, then maybe JFF.

And with all the dual-threat QBs, and the differentials in their styles -- it might be helpful to separate the list to DT guys, and "traditional" or "Pro-set" or "normal" guys. Feel free to put QBs under whichever label you like. Or not.

Yes these are my own rankings. I studied stats from last year. Not to mention I have seen just about every QB on this list play either on TV or in person.

I think Kevin Hogan showed last year in the 5 games he started that he is one of the top QB's in the land, but at 13 he's got room for growth.

Casey Pachall has the ability to be in the top 5, but there's possibly enough doubt about his non-football related issues to even leave him off the list entirely.

But generally speaking a pretty good list I would say...

I think FN is toast.

Who's Toledo's QB?

August 22, 2013  11:35 AM ET

Terrance Owens is Toledo's QB. Last year threw for nearly 2700 yards with 14 TD and 8 INTs. Also ran for 395 yards and 5 TDs. He's good but not top 25 QB good. But he is on my watch list.

8. Casey Pachall (TCU) - spent last year in rehab. Are you ranking him based on perceived potential or his accomplishments from 2 years ago?

17. Devin Gardner (Michigan). Another QB with partial data from 2012. Not sure if he's better than the 8 QBs you've ranked below him.

20. Bryce Petty (Baylor) - again, hardly any data from 2012. Are you ranking him based on perceived potential? Because the data is just not there.
