NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Time to move to ESPN or CBS Sports

I'd conduct a poll if the site worked well enough for that. But Fannation isn't the only game in town, and it's time our little community moved on...

So, ESPN or CBS?

If possible, I'd assume to avoid ESECPN.

I heard somebody else mention Yahoo Sports - have any of the intertoobz-savvy regulars actually gone out and checked/rated/evaluated a good site to move to?

August 23, 2013  09:19 AM ET

You do realize a bunch of ESPN folks left that site to come over here because of the goings-on at ESPN?

August 23, 2013  11:46 AM ET

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

What the **** happened?

August 23, 2013  11:49 AM ET

I believe I saw that people can only comment on ESPN through FB now, so all the "regulars" there moved on.

August 23, 2013  07:33 PM ET

Oh no. Use of FB is not acceptable. Ever.

Yahoo Sports is worth considering though. I hear the CEO is very... inviting.

August 23, 2013  07:34 PM ET

Also, things seem to now be working properly.

August 24, 2013  12:25 AM ET

ESPN just closed their forums last month.

Their former users were coming by here looking for a new site. Ain't nothing to see over there.

August 24, 2013  12:47 AM ET

Test...

August 24, 2013  12:47 AM ET

Hey it may be fixed now...

Apparently, someone has signed up the user name, "Tin Man" on several sites. It is not me. Do not be fooled into thinking so. If I sign up elsewhere, I'll let you know.

Yep...I had the same thing with BackRoads...I tried Yahoo/Rival and 247...didn't like them. Probably just because they are diffferent, but found them hard to maneuver around

August 24, 2013  11:57 AM ET

As Dr B said in another post...she worked 235 hours last month to get 15290 at 65/hr...

August 24, 2013  12:25 PM ET

My expereince has been that 247sports doesn't provide any message board functionality without one signing up with a credit card for a monthly fee (regular season is free... uh huh). Anyone else have a different experience?

August 24, 2013  03:17 PM ET

So, is the consensus Yahoo? The next time things blow up (and there will be a next time...) Yahoo Sports will be the place to go. Or at least where I'll be going.

Why does everyone want to give us tests?

The testing entry fees, of course.
