NFL  > Oakland Raiders  > WEEK #4 PICKS OF 2013 SEASON
September 23, 2013, 05:09 PM
Going into week 4 the most noticeable thing about the NFC is that all 4 teams that finished in 1st place of their division are now 2 games behind after only 3 weeks.

THURSDAY

49ERS @ st. louis - Every week the 49ers get more and more banged up. Neither Aldon Smith or Patrick Willis will play Thursday. St. Louis has the advantage of being at home. Despite all the injuries to the 49ers I think they will be able to run the ball as effectively as Dallas did when they destroyed St. Louis.

SUNDAY

BALTIMORE @ buffalo- If Buffalo allows all the offensive yards they allowed the NYJ's. Baltimore will trample them.

CINCINNATI @ cleveland- If Cleveland plays their hearts out like they did against Minnesota then they may make a game of it, but that won't even help if Cincinnati plays like they did against Green Bay.

CHICAGO @ detroit- Chicago is 3-0. Home field may help Detroit but I doubt it. To many turnovers by Detroit will keep Chicago undefeated. It should be close.

seattle @ HOUSTON- Houston got slapped by Baltimore. With the help of their 12th man they will sneak by Seattle.

INDIANAPOLIS @ jacksonville - Trent Richardson and Bradshaw both rush for over 100 yards.

nyg's @ KANSAS CITY - I want to think that being humiliated by Carolina will allow the Giants to get their together but I think Kansas City continues its hot streak at home.

pittsburgh @ MINNESOTA - Minnesota is better than some of the teams Pittsburgh has lost to. I don't even know if Ponder is going to play after losing to Cleveland. But in this case I think home field advantage is all the Vikings need.

ARIZONA @ tampa bay - I wonder if Tampa Bays secondary can stop Carson Palmer ? Heck I thought Tampa Bay had a shot at beating New England.

nyj's @ Tennessee - I don't know if the Jets win against Buffalo was an aberration or if Buffalo is really that bad. Both teams are 2-1 but i think Tennessee gets it done.

philadelphia @ DENVER- Philadelphia has lost to some mediocre teams. I think Chip Kellys hurry up offense may pass out in the altitude of Denver.

WASHINGTON @ oakland - Some might of given up Washington for dead. In Oakland they get the CPR they need to get on the right track.

DALLAS @ san diego - San Diego just can't get a break and doesn't seem to know how to win. They have blown 2 games and should be 3-0 , I don't know if San Diego can beat those teams from Texas.

new england @ ATLANTA - THis is where the Patriots start their 3 game losing streak. Atlanta is 2 games out of 1st place, in order to get back in the playoff hunt they need to win this game.

MONDAY

MIAMI @ new orleans - Sure it is Prime time and the Saints are at home, this makes the 3rd home game in their first 4 games, and so far they are perfect at home. But like I said at the beginning of the season. Miami will win the AFC East.

Yep,

Sorry about yer 9ners.

Put up my picks later.

San Francisco @ St. Louis
If Dallas can dominate the Rams lines, then so can the Niners
San Francisco

Baltimore @ Buffalo
Got a hunch here...
Buffalo

Cincinnati @ Cleveland
Glad you got that win out of the way, Browns. Makes this pick a whole lot easier.
Cincinnati

Chicago @ Detroit
Haven't hit on Detroit yet this year... Probably won't here either.
Detroit

Seattle @ Houston
I think we learn a little bit about Seattle in this game. Good road test against a team that plays decently at home.
Seattle

Indianapolis @ Jacksonville
Colts letdown? Nah.
Indianapolis

NY Giants @ Kansas City
Man - the Giants are bad. And the Chiefs are good. Damn good.
Kansas City

Pittsburgh @ Minnesota
Minnesota lost to the friggin' Browns! Pathetic!
Pittsburgh

Arizona @ Tampa Bay
Bad football game... and I think the Bucs are tuning out the coach. A bad football team tuning out a bad coach trumps a bad QB.
Arizona

NY Jets @ Tennessee
Good win by the Titans last week. And I'm not fooled by the Jets.
Tennessee

Philadelphia @ Denver
I don't know who beats Denver... but it ain't Philly.
Denver

Washington @ Oakland
There is no way I can pick the Redskins. That defense is horrible... absolutely horrible.
Oakland

Dallas @ San Diego
I am going against my better judgement... this is exactly the kind of game the Cowboys spit the bit on. An impressive win followed by an effort you shake your head over before a game against a team that looks like the best in the league. Oh well...
Dallas

New England @ Atlanta
Seems to me both teams are searching for their identities in this game. I just think Atlanta has way too many weapons at home to lose this one.
Atlanta

Miami @ New Orleans
I think the Dolphins give a good showing... but the Saints at home is just a little too much for them. No shame here.
New Orleans

No hurry... I just felt comfortable this week as opposed to last week.

I made a spreadsheet at work where I can stick everyone's picks. Then all I have to do is plug in the final scores and it automatically adds up the records.

I learn some cool stuff at work...

My head says they can't win every game. This will be one of their 5 losses, but sure hope I'm wrong.

yu lil' benedict-arnold....!

HA!! They are not a 16-0 team. And you know they always lose one game they shouldn't..really shouldn't. A few years back it was against the Browns. Last year it was Arizona AT HOME. They win the division at 11-5.

I guess stating the obvious is a talent. lol I picture Narry typing away with his bow tie and sweater vest, gin fizzie and a picture of George bush on his desk.

I prefer Otis commentary, at least it has personality and humor.

Dawn, you are a Colts fan like me so I respect you big time. We are Indy! Regarding Narry, I really hope the dude doesn't wear a bow tie and a sweater vest those things are ugly. :)

Or one of the cross dressing presidents... ooops

Narry justs needs to ease up and fun around, just way too serious and stiff. Like a dead body.
