NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > The 'NEW' Dallas Defense

Hate to say this but the Rob Ryan defense was a heck of a lot better. RGIII should have his best game of the season this coming Sunday. I can only imagine what ridiculous numbers Drew Brees will put up when the Cowboys go play in the dome later in the season. The defense has just about been stripped naked by both Manning boys and Rivers.

There is a Dallas Defense? I've yet to see it....

LOL..in 'theory'.

Kiffen getting beat up on ESPN/Dallas site. Dallas LBs had no answer for Moreno in the flat(s). Don't know if it is physical limitations of LBs or Kiffen's scheme leaves gaps. I expect more from Lee in directing the defense on the field. Bummer for Romo this morning as he gets crushed in the Media.

I thought the game yesterday was really good...Peyton only beat them by 3 points. I was expecting a complete blowout.

A big series in the game happened in the first quarter. Cowboys had the ball first and goal at the 2 but then a motion penalty and a 17 yard sack pushed them to a 43 yard field goal. Those missed points proved rather valuable.

Yes...but the game was a good one!! As was the 49ers game last night!

it would sure appear that way..... saints looking pretty tough right now. and how about our fearless leader - Romo? plays 58 minutes of perfection and then his true colors come out the last 2 mintues. but didn't we all know this was coming. i texted my brother-in-law and said this was likely to happen..... wasn't hard to predict.

it appears romo has some alarm in his head that goes off in the final minutes of big, close games. it's all mental.... and it appears he will never be able to defeat whatever this is. most will blame the D for allowing all those points, but denver has been putting up big points against teams all season. no, dallas played a really good game against one of the NFL's best. yes, the D could have done better, but if they had a QB with the mental capacity to remain calm when the game in on the line, we'd all be celebrating this morning instead of shaking our heads in disgust.

It was a good one, just business as usual for end of game Romo lowlights. SF didn't have any problems against a team that is just about off the tracks.

The Cowboys played the Broncos even but the Texans look overrated.

I was the first to say I liked the move to create more pressure and turnovers...

What I have seen is otherwise and after 5 games, letting Rob Ryan go was the wrong move.

We might be creating more turnovers, but giving up 409yds per game is terrible and 28th in the NFL...

Our offense is #2 in scoring...if not for Romo, we would be equal to an 0-5 Giant team.

It is a concern.

I hated that series, especially after Murray was the one who carried the ball to the 2 yard line. I was hoping to see Murray get 3 straight handoffs to get the touchdown instead 3 straight poor plays. I stopped watching the game after Manning ran in for a touchdown on a bootleg.

I disliked this game because I knew the Cowboys would play up to the Broncos and either pull off the upset of come close to looking like "world beaters" and fall flat the next game against the Redskins. That's why I believe that the 2 previous losses against the Chiefs and Chargers will hurt because they could have been 3-1 for the first 1/4 of the season.

Hopefully the defense gets better, but can't get too critical at this juncture because they have played against Alex Smith, the Mannings, and Phillip Rivers which are qbs who light it up at any given Sunday.

[SARCASM] The defense played good enough to win. They put Romo and the offense in a perfect situation to win on Sunday.[/sarcasm]
