NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Week 8, lots of undefeated teams playing
October 15, 2013, 04:24 AM
The ACC is on center stage this week with FSU and Clemson in an ACC game with actual implications for once (although Miami and VT both look good enough to win the ACC as well). Which USC and which ND team decides to show up is another good storyline, and there are a number of other decent games as well (but Bama, Oregon, and tOSU pretty much get the week off). The slate:

1 ARK at Alabama
2 WSU at Oregon
3 FSU at Clemson
4 Iowa at Ohio State
5 LSU at Mississippi
6 Auburn at Texas A&M
7 UCF at Louisville on Friday
8 UCLA at Stanford
9 Miami at North Carolina on Thursday
10 South Carolina at Tennessee
11 Iowa State at Baylor
12 Florida at Missouri
13 Georgia at Vanderbilt
14 Texas Tech at West Virginia
15 UNLV at Fresno State
16 Oklahoma at Kansas
17 Washington at Arizona State
18 TCU at Oklahoma State
19 Northern Illinois at Central Michigan
20 Wisconsin at Illinois
21 Syracuse at GT
22 BYU at Houston
23 Indiana at Michigan
24 USC at ND
25 Utah at Arizona

Dang, no love for Clemson, even though they're the higher ranked and the home team.

A rough game against BC will do that...

What can anyone tell me about Jordan Stevenson? Thanks to the screechin' that the sheep molesters did on their way out, I don't get to watch any Texas HS football on LHN.

10 Tennessee

Thank you for the against-the-grain pick. UTK badly needs a signature win, and though I do not perceive Vols QB, Worley to be ready to lead an upset of USCe, there's always defensive scores, special teams, and just plain luck. Besides, I cannot think of anyone who will be more upset about a loss to Tennessee than the Old Visor Tosser.

For this rivalry, seldom does either team show up without its 'A' game.

Orgeron has been passing around the Carroll koolaid and the Trojans are developing a taste for it. They can easily win this rivalry game with or without Marqise Lee who wasn't doing much before he got hurt. At least the QB and OC learned last Thursday they have other options.

The key for USC is to be able to pound the rock with those running backs and keep the D off the field. The 2 AZ games showed how badly the D lacks depth, resulting in second half free-for-alls. USC can win this game, but if I were setting the line, I'd make ND the favorite by a TD instead of a field goal.

Fight on.
