Eli entered the league like a giant dou[/b[che

Pouting his lips and whining about being selected by the San Diego Chargers. It's a dam[b]

Eli's face when sacked by Allen and creating some sort of OL sandwich was priceless. It's like a "is this really happening face" and when is it gonna end?! Too funny.

^^^^Punk ^^^^Sourpuss ^^^^Arrogant Meddler

Screw Eli and his arrogant, meddling daddy. He doesn't deserve the honor of languishing in mediocrity as a Charger. By refusing to come to SD he may have avoided mediocrity in terms of his team, but he was destined for doucheism where he will always remain in my eyes.

It's ok, the Chargers got Rivers, Kaeding, and Merriman out of the deal. Despite his two SBs Eli's still a card carrying member of the Doucheism HOF, along with Archie and Elway (for what he did to the Balt. Colts).

Ripper - I wouldn't brag about Merriman. He's still chapped the Cowboys didn't pick him. Imagine that, they went with Demarcus Ware. I think for once the Cowboys made a good decision.

'Nuff said!! ;)

Definitely they did. Merriman ultimately failed due to injuries. But I enjoyed having him during his two or three glory years (DROY, 3 straight Pro Bowls, 3 straight All Pros). I even forgive him for boning Tila Tequila. Haha. He's a better dude than "Aw shucks, I threw another pick" Eli, and his Lights On Foundation has done a lot of good things in the community.

Ware by a long shot has the better career, but I'll take Merriman in 2005 (Defensive Rookie OTY), and 2006. I think Ware was a riskier pick in 2005 than Merriman would have been. But clearly the right pick as Merriman didn't do much after his 3rd season in the NFL. Never heard that Merriman was upset about getting passed up, but understandable. I think he graded out higher on most of the talking heads' lists, and if picked he would've been a Cowboy doing his Lights Out dance in the Cowboys media market.

He stopped being productive when he got off the roids, that's when he starting to get all his injuries.
