It's all fun and games until someone gets tasered.

The Daily Citizen reports that John Grant, 42, of Tinley Park, Ill., was arrested and taken into custody for using an electronic stun gun on his wife three times.

According to the report, Grant, who is a Chicago Bears fan, made a bizarre bet with his wife: If his team beat her beloved Green Bay Packers on Monday night, he would be allowed to shock her with the device.

ESPN Chicago's John Roberts reports that after the 27-20 Bears victory, these two went outside Sidelines Tap bar in Mayville, Wis., to have a smoke. Both had been drinking at that point, which brings us to the "no duh" portion of the story.

The wife was recording video of the subsequent tasering and, according to Mayville Police Chief Christopher MacNeill, was laughing when she was tasered twice on the buttocks. However, Grant decided to taser her one more time along her thigh, and she reacted by notifying law enforcement.

MacNeill offered, 'You can't make this stuff up.' Oh, you could. It's just that nobody would believe you.

Text messages between the two reveal the woman did consent to being tasered but did not think her husband would actually go to those lengths.

Perhaps they should give out pamphlets at the altar upon tying the knot: Love, cherish and never taser each other.

How does a Bear fan marry a Packer fan? Funny stuff Tx. People are getting stranger by the moment as these years go by. I guess she didn't anticipate Rodgers getting injured. Once he got Injured it was over.

So what was the other side of the bet if she had won ? Was she going to be able to perform a Lorena Bobbit ?

Hey you make a bet you have to pay up.

Used to be that if you didn't pay off your bets they'd break your arms and legs. Or if they were having a bad day they would just kill you.
