Regarding replacing Rob Ryan with Kiffin:

'We thought that it was best for us to go in that direction, and that doesn't look good right now,' Jones said after Sunday's debacle. 'It's embarrassing to lose. It's embarrassing to not be representative, not be competitive, all of those things.'

What's embarrassing is for Jones to keep making the same dumb reactionary mistakes season after lost season. Firing Ryan would've been fine if Jones truly believed the defense kept the Cowboys from winning more games last season. But of course, JJ always focuses on the wrong issues. I expect him to keep coming out and endorsing Carrot too.

the way the Cowboys defense plays Rob didn't need to give JJ the finger. But I'll bet he was laughing his huge AZZZ off.

OH S/IT!!

See that T&R thread about 'reviewing' on the Hit,Peyton 'suffered'?

S/it, Now every team they play will get that dreaded,"Looking at the QB,with bad intent" rule come out now?

Cowboys IMO will still win that Division. They have Philly at home in the last week and already beat them in Philly and the Skins stink as the Cowboys have already beat them too. Giants were my pick before the season and are getting hot but still 3-6 and the Cowboys have already beat them too. Cowboys 3-0 in the Division and own all tiebreakers. I think all Cowboys, Colts, and Bengals fans have been put through a ringer lately but I still think all 3 will probably win their Divisions.

If Cincy beats the Browns and Indy beats the Titans all will be back to normal :). 2 huge games coming up for our teams!

Question is if you are a Cowboys fan who do you root for this week, Philly or the Skins? As they play each other. I would probably root for Philly just so the Skins will be put in a 3-7 hole and the Boys still play Philly in Dallas in the last week to probably hold their own destiny. The game at Washington may be tougher for the Boys.

Yeah EZ, what's up with that???

They should've beat the Ravens. And, if they lose to Cleveland the AFCN could become a four way race (OK, three way. The Steelers are out of it).

If they do it will be at 7-9. They beat the Giants but needed 6 TO's because Eli lit em up for 450. The Cowboys defense can't stop anyone. Foles is playing well and will probably do that too!. They also have the Bears, Packers & Raiders with the 3 division games.

Distasteful either way but I agree. I picked Philly.

Yeah all along you have said 7-9 and youmay be right, I still say 8-8 for the Boys. They will beat the Raiders, win at Washington, and beat Philly looking at their schedule.

FFE,

Here's the formula marvin 88-85-1 0-4. This is a proven stat as far as Cincy's HC goes for the 11th year.

marvin just can't break even,And Dalton is a 'non clutch QB'.

I took the browns this week as well. i hope they prove me wrong though.

November 13, 2013  11:24 AM ET

85-88-1 0-4 marvin.

November 13, 2013  11:24 AM ET

I can see the Cowboys at 8-8, Philly 8-8, Giants 8-8, and Skins 8-8 LOL but the Cowboys if they beat Philly and Washington again and only lose at NYG would own all tiebreakers. They would have the best Division record if that went down and a sweep over Philly and Washington.

Hard to believe he's been Coach since 2003. The 2008 and 2010 Season's hurt his record as he went 4-11-1 (08), 4-12 (10) - take those 2 seasons away and his record is decent but the no Playoff wins in 11 seasons is disturbing.

I've gotten to the point that when Jerry opens his mouth, I ignore him. When he's quoted in the paper, I move on. When he's on TV, I don't look.

I'm so sick of it...

I try to but it's like when the teacher ran her finger nails down the chalkboard. You just couldn't escape it.
