The biggest game of the season is coming up for KC and this guy gets pulled over for speeding but had possession of Marijuana in his vehicle so he is arrested. Not good for KC!

Had a boring day yesterday and read the Sam Hurd story here on SI. The way he tells it over half of all NFL players use weed daily. Even if he is exaggerating there is a high percentage of players smoking weed.

The Bowe case was really ill-timed and you can always say 'you can't fix stupid', he knows a black man or in this case 2 black men driving an expensive car are likely to get pulled over by the cops for any reason the cop dreams up. It is not right but it is the way the world works.

The story says they smelled it in the car, which is incredibly stupid for 2 black men driving around at night smoking weed in their expensive car. They deserved to go to jail driving around high, but did they do anything to deserve being pulled over is another matter.

Dwayne Bowe is an underachiever. Why, I'm not sure. But he has never (well, maybe not "never" - I think one year he did) lived up to his first round draft status. That guy has all the physical attributes and i have always expected more out of him. Especially this year with Andy Reid at the helm. I guess he'll be in the line-up Sunday. For his sake i hope he has a good game. He'll probably need to because the Chiefs can't win this game scoring 20 points or less. If they do, I'll be even more impressed by their D than I am now, and I'm impressed.

And re smoking pot? Stupid. Not that he's smoking it - who cares? Smoke it, dude. But not in your friggin' car. Go home, burn a fatty, chill, go to practice the next day. But nooooooo, he has to put himself and his team at risk. DA.

I've got no use for Sam Hurd. He's just hoping he drags some more friends down with him, but it ain't gonna work. Everyone knows he is just a sorry **** grasping for anything he can at this point.

Last year around this time Bowe was threatening to leave as a free agent. He got all his wishes, a new coach, a new QB, and a nice new contract.

Like you say; Do it at home.

I wonder if he will have to miss the game in Denver? It is stupid things like this that hurt teams.

As a 49er fan I know that although many fans love Aldon Smith, they are also upset with his stupid childlike antics that have caused him and the team a lot of grief.

It was just announced Hurd will be spending 15 years in jail. He could have gotten life.

48 in a 35

Fast enough to merit a ticket, regardless of skin color.

Sam Hurd got off easy, 15 years probably means 7.5 years with good behavior. He wont even be 40 when he gets out.
