NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Sarkisian to USC

That's the story making the rounds at the UW this morning. Best of luck to him.

The next thing everyone here (UW) is saying is that they want Jim Mora to be the new UW coach. Mora has said in the past that UW would be his "dream job". Dominoes are sure falling early for a bunch of bowl bound teams.

How many Bowls will be coached by interim HCs?

Great hire cant wait for Trojans to return to prominance about time for something good to happen since getting rid of Lame Kitten

Don't blame Orgeron one bit for resigning on the spot, which he apparently did.

Coach O to Wyoming?

He probably feels he has some fallback options.

Sorry to see Orgeron go. He said he wanted to stay as an assistant and recruiter, but evidently he changed his mind. He did a great job turning around the program midseason, far exceeding expectations.

No one can fault him for only losing 2 games, but they were the wrong 2. Even an established HC is gonna catch hell for losing to UCLA and ND in the same year. Hate to see him leave on a downer, but it's like he ran out of koolaid. I wish Ed O good luck, but I'm a little relieved he didn't get the job.

Not sure Sarkisian is the answer, but then I didn't like the idea of Pete Carroll taking over in 2001, either. We'll see. With another year of scholly restrictions, expectations shouldn't be too high for 2014.

How's that for a quad?

Something weird with my account. Had to log in/out 3 times, and apparently the comment posted each time.

Not really..kind of like take my ball and go home.

He doesn't have the resume (see Ole Piss) and USC is very sensitive to their backers (see alumni) as to who they can pick to coach them.

I have no issue with what USC did.

Kind of like the Coach at WVU who took over for the bowl game when the HC went elsewhere...did a great job, and the kids loved him, but didn't do so good over the entire season. I think this is what the situation is for Coach O...and Hayden realized it.
