NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > If both FSU and OSU lose.......................

Just a thought.... If both FSU and OSU lose their conference championship games would we be stuck with an Auburn - Alabama rematch??? Michigan State is only ranked at 10 so is unlikely to rise high enough to get to the championship game.... The standings give Auburn and Alabama the best chance in that 'end of days' scenario....

It's called ;

The Kaos Theory

It's what everybody in FN wanted, the final BCS BS to be total chaos. This should fulfill all wishes!!!!

December 3, 2013  12:10 PM ET

First of all you are assuming Auburn will beat Mizzou and that is a much more likely outcome than either OSU or FSU going down.

But let's assume as you say OSU and FSU go down and Aubie does win. It will be Aubie vs Okie Lite IMHO.

Bama is out.

Armageddon

May as well get smart here, The Kaos Theory will not happen, so,

FSU 51
OSU 17

should OSU lose and replaced by AU, pretty much the same score.

FSU and OSU both lose, bama is in. OkSt and Mizzu will not jump bama in the human polls.

Go Kaos!! It's what everybody wanted and everybody should get what they want!

If tOSU and the 'Noles both lose, they should just cancel the BCS title game and give the crystal football to Duke. What does Vegas have them at? 40-point underdogs? 50?

December 3, 2013  12:57 PM ET

Yet another board for yet another what if scenario regarding the eventual BS champion...

What I fear is that that group of guys masquerading as our defense who showed up in Ann Arbor last week will show up again this week. We will go as far as that group takes us. People are playing the "rivalry" card to explain last week's moral victory by Big Blue. But this Bucknut is not having it.

Let me tell you...you never give up 602 yds and 41 pts to anybody much less your rival. There are some serious deficiencies here and that should not be the case going into game #13. Urban better walk on down the hallway in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and speak to Waterboy about his performance. I would suspect he has taken over the defensive duties for this game and the NC (if we make it).

Actually that would be a fitting end to the BCS era.

What is this, another SEC whinge fest about being left out of the championship? Y'all best start channeling Princess Leia:

"Help us, Gary Pinkel. You're our only hope!"

it would be the upset of the ages were FSU to lose. It's not going to happen. And as good as Sparty is, they're still a bit offensively challenged. TOSU will play a closer game but they're not going to lose either. But even if they do, Alabama is idle and Missouri is not. And they're better than Auburn. Mizzou's loss to South Carolina is "better" than Okie Lite's loss to West Virginia. But it will come down to one of those two. Alabama is done.

Clever.

Well FSU is going to power jam Duke. But no one in the SEC wants to see another Auburn/Alabama match-up. One, if you give Nick Saban a month to prepare you are going to get your butt handed to you. Besides if Alabama could have kicked a field goal or if Georgia just knocks the ball down Auburn would not even be in the discussion. Missouri is getting no respect so they will be ready to play and will send Auburn crashing back down to earth. Personally I'd like to see Oak. St vs Missouri if the scenario plays out. But FSU ain't losing this week.

1/3 correct on that one. Better than your usual odds.
