Can't ignore the fact that Curtis Martin rushed for 1000 yds or more for 10 yrs consecutively,
starting with his rookie season.

Emmitt is #6.

GnG no way Emmitt isn't in top 5. Hey Sweets I thought the same thing when I seen his list. Sayers played like 5 years and his overall numbers are weak. If you put Sayers on a list than T. Davis belongs on it as he even won 2 SB's with better numbers. Bo Jackson didn't play long enough either. I think GnG is basing it off talent more than anything as Bo and Sayers were great athletes before their injuries.

Jim Brown's offensive line was better than Emmitt Smith's. Count the HOFers, it's not even close.

Selecting the top five RB's is really subjective. Everyone has their personal favorites. It's similar to selecting the top five actors of all time.

December 11, 2013  09:26 PM ET

1.) Jim Brown
2.) Barry Sanders
3.) Emmitt Smith
4.) Earl Campbell
5.) Marcus Allen

3) Lawrence Phillips
4) D.J. Dozier
5) Curtis Enis
