Not when they're topped with bangers. Bangers and mash. A jolly good dish!

And not when they're bottomed by meat loaf. Meat loaf pie . . . mmmmm.

I say nay! Mashed taters with butter, garlic, and cream, yum yum!

Hey man! I think I recognize you. Great suit! ;-)

Nice thought Duke but I have a feeling the people that need to figure out what you are doing will have no clue. As for the question, plain mashed are but load 'em up like a baked potato and you got something! ENJOY YOUR DAY ALL!!

Mashed Potatoes and Roast Beef - God's food.

Mashed Potatoes, Mac-N-Cheese - a lot of starches but I love both, Green Beans - for your greens, and a big T-Bone steak with garlic powder on it.

Garlic mashed twice baked!

Swap that T-Bone for a juicy ribeye seasoned with Santa Maria seasonings and cooked over mesquite and we're in business.

I love a good Ribeye and you read my mind in a way because I almost said Ribeye instead of T-Bone.

Excellent no doubt! Garlic is awesome on most things so is Ranch Dressing.

Awwwww...WTF? Who hates him that much? Or anyone for that matter?

Ugh. I was wondering if that was Jim. Guess I was too late. Typical of FN.

Everyone makes good arguments in support of mashed potatoes, but are they the best side dish of your meal?

And definitely ribeye over t bone.
