NFL  > General NFL  > If Kirk Cousins is converted into a 1st round.

That is a distinct possibility. Considering they do not have one, and if Cousins plays well enough to be converted into a nice pick, I guess Shanahan's decision would have been a good one.

Don't see it. That could be their play but the Skins losing yesterday doesn't help. They are stuck with RGBust and a bad Defense and gave up all their picks for that guy. I am glad the Colts took Luck. Reggie, Bradshaw, Allen who is a lot better than Fleener, Ballard are all out and will be back next season and Mathis still has 2 great years left as well on Defense. Colts will be better next year if they can stay healthy + another Draft to help with the O.Line.

Cousins will never get the Skins a first round pick.

Cousin's will look like Pro-Bowl material after the game with Dallas....

Kirk Cousins threw 3 touchdowns, 2 interceptions yesterday.

That brings his career total to 7 TDs : 7 INTs

Not exactly first round draft pick material. Unless he throws 10 touchdowns over the next two weeks combined, I just don't see it.

Cousins might fetch the Skins a 2nd round pick. I doubt any team would give them a 1st round pick.

The question is he better than the potential first rounders coming into the draft this year? Think about that.

If they could take Cousins, who could very well be better than any of the college prospects in the upcoming draft, then why not?

One of the major advantages the Seahawks have in drafting Russell Wilson is the fact he was a 3rd round pick. 3rd round money and first round talent.

If there is more than ONE team interested in Cousins, then he may very well turn into a first rounder. Cause teams would rather pay the fourth round price on a relatively proven commodity rather than drafting for a first round QB who is unproven.
