Sadly, Week 2 doesn't have nearly as many interesting matchups as Week 1 did.

Best of the bunch is clearly Juventus v. Udinese. Juventus only managed to tie a Fiorentina squad reduced to 10 men and missing Mutu and Montolivo in Week 1, while Udinese was the only one of the contenders to grab three points on opening weekend. With Antonio DiNatale and Fabio Quagliarella, Udinese has an underrated attack and a great coach in Pasquale Marino. They have a strong midfield, but their defense and goalkeeping is suspect. Both teams have dreams of competing for the title this season, but need to pick up points in games like this for that to be a reality.

Inter plays Catania. Catania can be tough to play at home, but on the road, Inter should crush them. Roma plays Palermo, who have a new coach just one game into the season and got crushed by Udinese in the first game of the season. Milan plays Genoa. Normally, this would be an easy with for the Rossoneri, but the past two years, who knows what they will get from this team. They can't afford another terrible start this year. Serie A is too competitive. Fiorentina plays Napoli with a healthy Mutu and Montolivo and a seemingly rejuvenated Gilardino. Napoli is normally tough to play at home, but with the sanctions against them due to their fans actions, they'll lose some of that advantage.

Lazio plays Sampdoria. Neither side was expected to compete for a Top 4 spot this year, but both looked good in the first week.

My picks:
Juventus 2 - Udinese 1
Inter 4 - Catania 2
Palermo 0 - Roma 2
Genoa 1 - Milan 1
Napoli 0 - Fiorentina 1
Lazio 0 - Sampdoria 1

Thoughts?
