NFL  > Chicago Bears  > Week 17. Green Bay at Chicago for all the Marbles!!!
December 23, 2013, 12:45 AM
This is it! Could we have a better way to end a season and possibly get into the playoffs? Is there anyone who we would rather beat and make us feel like we want MORE? Is there any way that the Eagles fiasco could be beneficial?

I think that losing to the Eagles might have done us GOOD! From here on out EVERYONE in the Bears organization is going to be 100% serious. Everyone will want to give their all and fight like hades. However with such a loss WHEN we beat the Packers, NO ONE on the Bears will think hey, we are pretty good. All we have to do is show up and we will win!

NOT after that Philly game! Plus there will be NO give me or give away game to the Packers at the end of the season which happened with Lovie and could have happened if the Bears had won in Philly! Now the Bears will be HUNGRY, ANGRY, and Serious to do their best from here on out however far that might be.

Ok Packer and Bear fans, lets hear it. Lets hear about the way your Packers are going to beat the Bears, and Bear fans lets talk about SWEEPING the Packers for the first time since when??? GO BEARS!!!!

Without Rogers, Bears should win this at home. Bears need to get rid of the "funk" put on them on Sunday night and get ready to play. Trestman seemed in control after the Eagles game and ready to move on to the Pack game......time will tell

December 25, 2013  08:21 PM ET

I respected Trestman's composure, after that spanking.

But so what still got one shot,so make it count! and ,The Bears can make their own Destiny this week. GO BEARS!!

Whether Rodgers starts or not ,it's gonna be a fight too the bitter end.

And whoever wins? Get's the bragging rights of the NFCN Champions!!!

December 28, 2013  01:12 AM ET

Hopefully the thing I want the most is for Briggs and the Defense to play like we ALL know they can play. Sure it would be nice if Rogers has a bad game, but I'm not going to count on it. I just want our players to have a good game. ALL of them! GO BEARS!!!

It really speaks well of Trestman for him to take this team to the Brink of the Playoffs in his first year and yet we ALL know that Emery is still working on improving this team in the next 2 years.

Just what this team might be able to accomplish is the interesting thing to ponder. Sure he "FIXED" the offense in ONE season, but what will they do for an encore? Will the experience that the Rookie LB's are getting be the key thing for them in the future? What other things will the Bears be able to improve on in the near future?

Sure this season isn't over yet, but I still wonder about the entire picture. I just happen to think that this season we barely scratched the potential of Trestman! GO BEARS!!!

I expect a high scoring game as both teams have a good offense and a terrible defense.

You know me so well, this has been a very uncomfortable week, 54 points, Aaron Rodgers back, Cobb back too.

This is the most important game in Jay Cutler's career, it will determine how much the Bears pay him in the future...and can truly shut up the naysayers...

GSH 1 might have hit it on the button when he called this an 8-8 team...

Happy New Years EZ, and good luck to your Bengals...they are my AFC Pick this year, unless a miracle happens, and the Bears play in the Super Bowl.

I would like the offer my congratulations to the refs for, screwing up this game...

Your calls were laughable...

The Packers won fair and square. Don't blame the refs and enjoy your off-season.

Go Packers!

GTF out of here with that BS...they made up calls to help out the Packers...
You will enjoy your off season soon enough, as SF finishes crushing you from the season opener.

Screw the ****

I don't mind missing the playoffs as much as losing to the Packers. Grrr. But at least we will get a higher draft choice than the Packers.

Now it's on to 2014. What do we do to improve the team? I will be starting a new post to discuss these questions.

The one thing is to me, at least our misery of watching teams run all over is is OVER. I HOPE!!!

GO BEARS!!!
