NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > Romo out for final week 17 matchup......
December 23, 2013, 05:08 PM
Oh boy, another loss on the horizon. Orton is a reasonable back-up but not at Romo's level. Romo's back is apparently hurt and he is done for the year. I'm way bummed as I think Romo is NOT the problem with Dallas. Looks like NBC's SNF match up just became a bit steaming tuuurd. Good luck to Philly in the playoffs.

If Dallas loses to Philadelphia do you think Jerry Jones would surmise that if Romo did not get hurt that Dallas would have won the Super Bowl and thus justify not firing coach Jason Garrett?

Bad news.

I suspect that regardless of the outcome Jerry will surmise that he's doing "best work ever as GM" and that everything is A-OK, another week in prime-time SNF. ALL over the news for a myriad of reasons and in Jerry's World all is well.

All kidding aside your hypothesis is not beyond the realm of possibility in what consitutes normal in Jerry's World.

Garrett is currently having a LIVE press Conference and Carrot says it is still about "treatment" and "day-to-day" so maybe this is a ruse? Who knows?

For real, according to Adam Schefter and ESPN, Broaddus says maybe otherwise, Garrett is talking like it's Orton's ball this weekend. Would take a miracle recovery by Romo. Have the press conf running in background and Carrot is spouting one cliche after another. Not looking good right now. Who knows Orton may pull a rabbit out of a hat. No real pressure for Orton, his game to go win.

Aw, man. Our ship is sunk.

I like Orton and all but the Boys don't stand a prayer of a chance against the juggernaut known as the Iggles without Number Nine.

Best news that Dallas fans can hear at this point. Hopefully the Redtard gets sick and can't coach the game as well. Maybe Dallas stands a chance to win after all.

Juggernaut stumbled vs the Vikings just a week ago. I'm bummed too but Orton is NOT a rookie with wide eyes. He's been there and maybe can get another "T-shirt". Fingers crossed for Romo return or Orton having an out of body experience.

Don't need to be a Dallas "expert" to know the Romo & Redtard combo doesn't win these games so how can it hurt? Heck they might even dare I say it, run the ball more without Romo around. Theres a thought. I give Dallas a better shot with Orton than I ever would have with Romo. Especially a win and your in game.

On top of that old man Kiffens defense was lights out against Kelly's offense back in the ole college days. Should be a easy win for big D now.
