NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > refs intentially stuck the Cowboys with delay of game penalty yesterday
December 30, 2013, 09:36 PM
They must have been tired and just wanted the game to end at that point? There is no excuse for that type of incompetence.
December 30, 2013  09:37 PM ET

could the refs have possibly made it any more obvious that they wanted the Cowboys to lose?

Do they get bonus checks because the Eagles won?

Did you just wake up and not see all the horrible calls during the season? C'mon Man. Grow a set.

December 31, 2013  08:55 AM ET

One thing is a fact and that is Fort Worth dominance cant stand NFL REFS, LMAO.

December 31, 2013  09:30 AM ET

Dez Bryant scored a touchdown later that same drive. So it ultimately didn't impact anything.

December 31, 2013  09:32 AM ET

It's also the only penalty called against Dallas throughout the entire game.

Penalties against Philadelphia: 6 penalties for 50 yards
Penalties against Dallas: 1 penalty for 5 yards

Did you also catch how many Eagle pass plays the announcers pointed out Cowboy defenders getting away with defensive holding and pass interference? Of course not.

Philly won fair and square and that is fact!

The Cowboys did it to themselves. The delay of game penalty did NOT cause the 'Boys to lose. The Cowboys are just an average team, and will continue being so as long as Jones is the GM. The Cowboys could have, and maybe should have, won the game, if that interception had not been thrown.
And, for all you Romo haters out there, including Cowboys fans.... Romo lost this game because he was injured, right? Right.

And, no, I have not been here much this year, for one reason or another.

have missed you man. another sorry season in the books. no surprise there! the mess this season is squarely on the defense. other than needing to run the ball more, I had no problem with the offense. they scored plenty enough points to have a much better record but the defense kept pulling that team backwards.

Well, I've been doing other things, Tx. And, kind of forgotten about FN as well...........lol........Maybe I can kinda start over.

Man, was this a season to........forget! I've never been so embarrassed to be a Cowboys fan as I was this year. Jones knows what he's doing, don't he? I have reached the point to where, while watching the Cowboys, and they lose, I can just turn over and go to sleep. That's a shame, isn't it?

I like the Cowboys but it seems 8-8 is par for their course. I picked them to go 8-8 before the season but once they got 7-5 I rode with them to win the Division at that point as the Skins and Giants surprisingly stunk. Philly was the shocker after losing Andy Reid and Vick - they got better with Foles and their new Coach.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. And, Jones seems to be the epitome of insanity. It's his way or the highway.

8-8 (or less) will likely be the record for quite some time. Their best year was the "vacation year"......Cabo, ect... They could have been 15-1, but decided vacations were more important, and ended up 13-3, and one and done in the playoffs. Jones had his chance..........now, he's getting the results of his ineptitude.

Back in training camp I predicted 7-9, but that was based more on the fact that the o-line was such a mess. Who would have thought that would have been one of the strengths of the team. Obviously the "improved" defense they were touting back then never happened.

I also thought 7-9, but never.........never in my wildest dreams would I see them get bulldozed like the Saints did to them, or the Bears..........not even a comeback like the Packers. I know the injuries were too much to absorb, but every team has injuries.

Jerry is getting his just desserts for not allowing Ryan to finish, for one thing..........not that I cared much for Ryan, but c'mon. This defense was worse than any Ryan put out there.

Hey Mike!...Yeah, I decided to see what was going on. I about forgot about FN, actually. Used to be my home page, but it got changed, and I got involved with Facebook and other endeavors............and FN kinda took a back seat this year.

Don't forget the Detroit and Denver games also. The defense got shredded like toilet paper.
