NFL  > Seattle Seahawks  > Seahawks disrespectful team in sports
January 20, 2014, 09:31 AM
You see there team and fans are disrespectful to the game. Richard Sherman has his beef with 49ers. But Crabtree didn't do anything to you. But you call him out. Then you guys act like you deserve this. Navarro Bowman tears his acl. What does your fans do they throw popcorn on him going to the locker room. So this is what your team comes too. Not to mention Russell Wilson wasn't yt? his best. I'm not saying that Seahawks are not deserving. But com on your players made you become like them.

They wont beat Peyton, don't worry ;-) I got news for Sherman.

Talented team and I like Shermann (I think, but he's not making it easy) but this team is shooting itself in the foot in regards to appeal. Sure being liked is not what the game is about but as a brand the NFL has managed to put players on every team that this fan likes. Maybe Carroll needs to address this.

Carroll and Harbaugh's teams reflect their personalities.

"We want this to be about hatred, because we like the sound of hatred more than we like the sound of competition. Competition is a cliche' and a candy-pants word. You can't sell competition the way you can sell hatred."

Stunning how well the media outlets have built up an NFL rivalry. The 9er's and Seahawks were nowhere near as hostile towards each other until the media stepped in.
Good luck to both the Seahawks and the Broncos in the Super Bowl. Hope it lives up to the hype the media is sure to saturate us with over the next 2 weeks

Don't bet on it. The Seahags will find Peyton a tougher foe than Krapernick.

After watching what Manning did to the Patriots secondary I have to agree. Although the Seattle defense is much better than New England's. I still think Manning will run Seattle ragged.

Without their 12th man Seattle is only mediocre.

New Orleans used a special ear plug to filter out crowd noise and so did the 49ers. You'll notice that the 12th man did not hamper either N.O. or the 49ers. Soon every team that goes into a noisy stadium will be wearing these earplugs.

Krapernick, how cute.

I think the play of the game actually occurred after the game and it was Erin Andrews when she threw her wasted interview with Sherman back up to the booth.

It is official. As Sherman ranted, MLK was spinning in his grave and could be heard moaning " I have a nightmare ".

At the combine Deion Sanders will be impersonating his much younger doppelganger Richie Sherman . Sanders will put on some Rick James dreadlocks and go as Leon Sandman .

Leon Sandman will demand the the NFL Combine include important NFL qualification tests like; Biggest loudest mouth, and fastest man to run 40 yards to a microphone.

Just stop doing interviews. 90% of what people say is a lie anyway. Then when you have someone truly speak his mind we get upset with them. They don't like each other, should he have lied and gave the norm "we respect their game....". I'm not saying what he said was right, but who cares. He just played the biggest game of his life, coming off a big play. With the noise and adrenaline he was caught up. By all accounts when previous coaches tried to get him to not talk and act up his play suffered. Some players need that. Their is the "locker board material" of quotes for a reason. Coaches will play up whatever angle they have of someone disrespecting or calling out their team, they do this to motivate and it works. If that interview had taken place hours not minutes after the game I doubt it would be the same. Again those ....who cares. What does it effect

There were earlier incidents between Sherman and Crabtree.

It was no secret that these guys didn't like each other.

What are you quoting? It would make your point more valid if you cite your source.

As for the game, it was a huge defensive battle and the end proved to be as exciting & drama filled as I thought it would be.

But really, can we blame a guy who just won his way to the SB and has to give a post game interview moments afterwards? Lots of energy expected to be internalized in a short period of time (damn near impossible). Not saying that he was classy in his words, but that I understand why he wasn't. All the latter interviews he did were kind of stuck - stand by your initial words or look like you're back tracking (not an option).

Let's move on. Looking forward to the SB. Should be a great game.

And Bowman. Damn, that injury looked awful. I hope he heals well and is able to come back healthy and able. Seattle fans should be ashamed of throwing food on him. That was not cool.

'cool' as in temperature only. Good coffee though. At least they don't claim to be the City of Brotherly Love. LOL

****, come on, I know your niners lost but seriously. Let's break it down:
But Crabtree didn't do anything to you. But you call him out.
Hot tip, try google and you will find there is a long history between the two (search tip: Crabtree Arizona Sherman fight)

Then you guys act like you deserve this.
You I guess is then we, so how to we derserve what?

Navarro Bowman tears his acl. What does your fans do they throw popcorn on him going to the locker room.
First off I hope Bowman will get over the injury quickly, he is a great player, secondly judging the amount of Popcorn fan might be better than fans and thirdly, yes every fanbase has Idiots that a sad fact of life but please do not makeout all fans to be like this, because the actions of a few do not represent the whole.

So this is what your team comes too. Not to mention Russell Wilson wasn't yt? his best.
Not sure what you are trying to tell us there

I'm not saying that Seahawks are not deserving. But com on your players made you become like them.
Again not sure what you are trying to tell us, if it says what I think you ment then this is a dangerous proposition. Or do you think after the Hernandez incident fansstarted running around shooting people.....

It is official. As Sherman ranted, MLK was spinning in his grave and could be heard moaning " I have a nightmare ".
Sure? Do me a favour and read this, you have to remember that what happens on the field is just part of the person in question http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20140120/richard-sherman-seattle -seahawks/
