This kind of bet for the Super Bowl is one that keeps people interested in the details of the Super Bowl and not just interested in the commercials or how good the halftime show is. If you have a small home Super Bowl party you could get everyone to pick 4 or 5 different 5 game parlays for small amounts of money or prizes and it adds to the excitement of the game, just like a Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction . For many people they will buy 2 tickets just to get over the 1st hurdle; Which team receives the first kickoff ? Then the fun begins.

For all those that take this simple challenge, someone might win and that person will be thinking; I wish I had made that bet.

If you were to research each one of these details you would probably find out that both teams are very predictable in their game plans down to the coin toss. That person might find that a certain team always likes to get the opening kickoff and the other team doesn't so your odds improve on that pick dramatically. I think most teams with strong offenses like to get the opening kickoff.

I think the teams that defer the opening kickoff is much higher than you are making it out to sound. Especially those teams with strong offenses. They like to have the ball to start the 3rd quarter than at the opening of the game.

There are crazier things to gamble on or take part in. Fantasy Football for 1, who would have ever thought this would get as big and popular as it has? Without home computers fantasy football was where it was 40 years ago, little known to those that did not hang out at bars. Comparing fantasy football then and now was like comparing the old football game with the vibrating metal field to Madden Football.

I don't know if Tostitos is still giving away the $1,000,000.00 prize if you can guess exactly what players each team will draft, or if people have given up on it because the odds are so great. I have only heard of one person getting the draft right and that was before Tostitos had their challenge. And no the person that got it right was not from the NFL Network or ESPN. I don't think any of these guys or even all the Mock draft experts have ever gotten the draft right even though they propose new Mock drafts every week. THe guy that got it right was some idiot savant, and that is the only time I ever remember hearing of someone getting the draft right.

maybe it would be better to count how many plays he is actually on the field for before he goes out with another injury. I do think you can go with the over/under 5 however.

He may exit after he takes his first hit.

I think his career is about over.

I'm amazed they never put him on injured reserve.

If he makes a big play in the Super Bowl then it's worth it. But if he doesn't, then he's spent the entire season taking up a roster spot that could have gone to a more productive player.
