NFL  > Philadelphia Eagles  > Keeping Jeremy Maclin in Philly is a mistake...

It is a mistake let him go to free agency. Here it is although Philly would love to have a new weapon for the foles here is the pitfall. Jeremy coming off a first key injury in his career. Plus Riley Cooper is 10x cheaper for Philly. Plus the draft and cap issues for Maclin he really never proved to be the starter in Philly from day 1. If that does happen where would he go to me Indy or Carolina. What do u think.?..

He's a solid #2 option. And because he's coming off an injury his value is reduced. You see what he's offered by other teams and see if it's worth making a competitive offer. I don't see any reason to definitively decide at this time.

Although I don't expect Philly to keep both Maclin and Riley Cooper. And I'd much prefer they keep Cooper.

With Cooper's baggage, my guess is he'd prefer to stay in Philadelphia than attempt to establish himself in a new locker room. So I think Philly could get a "home town discount" with him.
