From Rotoworld:
Seahawks agreed to terms with WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh on a five-year, $40 million contract. The deal includes $15 million in guarantees.

Roto dont like the signing but I like it alot. Housh is underrated and I think he can help the Seahawks alot.

It's a great day for Seahawks fans everywhere. Now if they can add Crabtree with the 4th draft pick, they may actually have a decent year.
Things could have been worse - MUCH worse. Former Lions coach Rod Marinelli interviewed last week for defensive line coach. Thank god he failed the test

Marinelli didnt do well in Detroit as a head coach but before that he was a dam good coach with the Bucs. He ran the defensive line in Tampa from 1996-2005 and was maybe the best defensive line coach in the league during that span.

Congrats on getting Housh though. If im a Seahawk fan this was a good day.

What excites me the most about this move is that it allows the Seahawk brass to jump on Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe with the number 4 pick. Maybe we could even find someone who wants Crabtree bad enough to move up, we can trade down a few spots, get an extra pick outta the deal and still come away with a B.J. Raji. (unlikely scenario, but hey, it would be sweet).

If one of them falls to four that would be a nice pickup. I see Smith going #1 to the Lions and Monroe going #2 to the Rams. Monroe could slip even past 4 though if the red flags he got at the combine b/c of his knees shy some teams away.
