It happened last November but it's still a pretty bizzare story.

John C Odom died just six months after being traded. But hear me out, he was traded for 10 maple bats and people began to call him "Bat Man", "Bat Boy", and "Bat Guy". This drove him into depression and left the baseball team. He then became an alcoholic and drug addict. The cause of his death was due to overdose from heroin, methamphetamine, the stimulant benzylpiperazine and alcohol.
